It would be great to be able to set up a standard report that could repeat on a monthly or weekly basis.

I would like to be able to run a report that gives the client a weekly update of certain KPI's and sends that report to their inbox.

One particular use case might be to let cash accounting clients know how much cash they have received this quarter to date - and how much cash they should put aside in a separate VAT account.

Please can you add this feature, currently I have to download the same report every day manually. Thanks

Can we please get this feature moving? Other SAAS accounting packages offer this and it is desperately needed!

It's already 2022 and no initiative yet on this. For a company that prides itself with innovation this is a booohooo. Make this happen please.

This really really needs to be implemented. What's the point of having all this data if you can't easily share it with the people in your company who need to know? Unfortunately, restricted user roles can't be given access to run their own reports (without being given access to the entirety of the underlying data in Xero - which is often too sensitive to share - e.g. payroll). If reports can't be auto generated/emailed, I don't see why individual users can't be given access to run specific custom reports on a "read-only" basis that contain only the data that management want them to have access to - perhaps only giving them the ability to select the date for which certain data is run.

this would be a huge huge time saver in my industry. I currently spend a few hours a month sending this to clients.

This would save a lot of time from having to manually do an easily automatable task such as running and emailing a report.

I just saw this and am amazed that it's not possibe yet.

This needs implementing asap - surprised as a new user that this was not standard.

This will save lots of time, please implement the automatic generation of reports.

This will greatly help our project teams and departments in their performance review where they do not have full access to Xero.

Our billing team to have regular ageing report notifications so we can improve our cash flow and invoice collections.

And management can keep a close tab as well for budgeting and reviews.

This would be an enormous help. We have to manually produce a daily manifest every day at 3.30pm showing total list of orders plus daily income.

The ability to schedule reports to be automatically emailed out to a list of contacts at specific intervals.

Example: We have a job that is based on Time and Materials. There is a budget and the customer wants to know how many hours have been used each week so they can keep track and prioritise if needed.

Currently this is a manual task for us to run the report each week and sent it out to the customer.

It would be great if we could apply a schedule to a report and have it sent out to a 'list' of contacts on a specific interval (ie Daily, Weekly, Monthly).

PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE add this as a feature. This is something that most popular accounting programs already have. We are behind the times here. The original request was submitted OVER 8 YEARS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure how this isn't a thing already.

One of the main reasons we need this is because our sales staff don't have accounting permissions so getting the monthly sales report would help them immensely. Instead they have to bother accounting to do the button clicking.

Fully agree, very useful feature.

We recently moved from Quickbooks and had a series of reports regularly generated and emailed to each operations department so they could see how they were tracking. It's very disappointing that this common function can't be automated in Xero.
