Manual Journals - Include description when printing / exporting to PDF
Adding description when users export Manual Journals in PDF.
Purpose: Users’ can have better notes, as they can see the description in the PDF document.
Hi team, we appreciate the conversation however we want to be open that we don't have any short term plans for changing the export of Manual Journals in the near term.
Not getting a lot of community support over time, this idea will soon be removed. If it something you feel very passionate about you are welcome to restart and see if there is renewed interest from the community.

Hi
The new Journals are terrible for efficient data entry. Agree with other comments that 'click' intensive dates are very wasteful of time.
Most accountants have a num pad, why would you take an efficient numerical dating option to mouse and letters!
The condensed look is also much preferred. -

Hi. The new look manual journals is not that great sorry. You cannot see the entire description when entering the 'subject' and then when I manually key the date from my keyboard it turns it to USA style, ie. month first. I'm sorry but taking your hand off the keyboard to use the mouse wastes time. The same as when setting up a bank rule, using the tab button and finding the account name does not save in it. Please fix the manual journals so that you can use the keyboard and tab buttons rather than the mouse. I prefer the condensed look.

It would be great if the description printed when you go to print the journal. Currently all that prints is date, the account name and the amount. The description is often the crucial piece of informaiton that makes the journal make sense. It would also be very nice the description allows more than one line in the box the way it did three hours ago before the new version of journals came into being. I don't feel personally that the new version is an improvement on the original. In fact its the opposite. Once again you've made something simple more time consuming.

Prefer to have
1. the reference number (user manually added)
on RIGHT Top corner and with bigger font, say BOLD Arial 132. description for each line of the journal.
3. the acc number & Ac name
