Custom Reports - Set dates for reports with custom periods
PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THIS ONE JUST BECAUSE YOU MISUNDERSTAND
Reports with custom periods currently have their dates 'shifted' every month or quarter (yes, they do, no matter what 'Xero support' say - unless that has been fixed, of course). This shouldn't happen, as they do not use relative dates (they should be fixed, at least by default). This is either a bug or bad design.

We appreciate that you’ve asked for this idea not to be closed off. In this case though, based on our testing this isn’t expected behaviour, and Xero Product Ideas isn’t the right place for us to investigate issues that may be specific to an organisation or report setup.
Because of that, we’ve moved this idea to Feedback. The best next step is to raise a case with Xero Support so they can take a closer look at what’s happening in your organisation and troubleshoot this with you directly.
If you can include examples of the report, the date settings you’ve used, and what changes when you reopen it, that’ll help the team investigate further.
