AU Payroll: Leave Transactions Report to include payment date.
In regard to the Leave Transactions Report (Australia), it would be very helpful if a date column could be added to the report, allowing the transactions to be easily sorted into chronological order.
For example, if there has been a change to an employee’s leave accruals and we need to investigate when that change occurred, it is currently quite difficult to sort the report by date using the available fields in Excel.
As a workaround, we currently have to extract the date from the description field into a separate column using a formula such as '=DATEVALUE(RIGHT(D6,11))' where D6 is the relevant description cell.
The report previously displayed transactions in chronological date order, but this appears to have changed, possibly when the report was updated around February 2024.
Could you please consider adding the transaction date as a separate column, or restoring the chronological date field to the report? This would make the report considerably easier to use, particularly when investigating changes or discrepancies in leave accruals.
