Hi team, we’re pleased to share that we’ve released some more features, enabling more users to pay suppliers without logging into your bank!

For our UK customers we’ve made paying overseas suppliers easier with international bill payments ( https://blog.xero.com/uk/product-updates/online-bill-payments-global/ ).

Using open banking, you can now securely send money to 180+ countries including Europe (EUR), America (USD) and Australia (AUD). So you don’t have to juggle multiple platforms or hidden fees. Whether you’re paying a single bill or multiple bills at once, authorise payments prepared by your team and easily track which suppliers have been paid.

We’ve also launched bill payments in Xero for customers in the US, powered by BILL ( https://blog.xero.com/us/product-updates/online-bill-payments/ ).

You can make simple, secure payments directly from Xero. You’ll be able to authorize payments prepared by your team, and easily track which vendors have been paid. Plus, gain access to millions of vendors over the BILLTM network, and vendors can choose how they want to be paid. With no recurring subscription fees (aside from your Xero plan), you only pay per transaction.

Hi everyone, appreciate there are more regions users would like to see us adopt solutions for and we’ll keep you in the know of any progress, here.

In the UK, we have some updates with the bill payments method with Crezco. You now have more control of your cashflows with the ability to schedule bills to be paid at a future date using direct bank transfer. This’ll help avoid potential bank charges for same day transactions, and missing due dates. Along with this you’ll also be able to stay up to date with your payments with real-time payment status in Xero. Meaning you don’t have to log into your bank to check the status of each bill payment. With an overview of all payments made using direct bank transfer, you have an accurate record of which suppliers have been paid, and when.

Hi everyone, as mentioned in our last update customers in the UK can now set up direct bank transfer as a payment method for GBP bills to quickly and securely pay bills. Funds are transferred from your bank account by Crezco using open banking.

More recently as you may have seen announced ( https://www.xero.com/my/media-releases/xero-partners-with-bill-to-deliver-bill-pay-capabilities-for-small-businesses/ ) we have recently partnered with BILL to help enable these capabilities for our US customers. We are excited about the partnership and will share more when its further in development.

We’re excited to announce the release of UK bill payments in Xero ( https://go.xero.com/app/payments-onboarding/landing-uk ) ! Customers in the UK can now set up direct bank transfer as a payment method for GBP bills to quickly and securely pay bills.

Funds are transferred from your bank account by Crezco using open banking. The availability of open banking in the UK has enabled us to offer this on-platform, bank agnostic payments experience to our UK customers.
