Bills - Nominal Account showing in the Bills list
Bills - Display Chart of Accounts account code on the main "bill" pages (currently only see on the "Edit bill" screen).
Hi everyone, thanks so much for continuing to share your feedback, we can see how helpful it would be to show the nominal account / account code directly in the Bills list, rather than needing to open each bill to check those details.
Because this idea has continued to come up over the years — including in a number of older, similar ideas that we’ve now merged into this one — we’re moving it to Gaining Support so we can bring that feedback together in one place, build clearer visibility, and better understand how many customers would benefit from it.
Please keep adding your votes and comments here — especially if you can share a little more about your workflow and which bill list views this matters most in. That extra context really helps our product team when reviewing ideas like this.
Thanks again for taking the time to raise this with us and for being part of the conversation.

This is exactly what I need. So cumbersome compared with MYOB!

It is critical that a payment type column should be added. I have to check each bill in case they are credit card paid bills (before statement upload) in case I pay thinking they are bills to be paid by bank (feed). This can result in bills being paid twice by card and bank unnoticed.
If Dext can have a column for payment type, surely Xero can too? -

I would like to second the suggestion above; it would be incredibly helpful to have the option to view the account that bills awaiting approval have been assigned to, same for the tax rate, on the 'Awaiting approval' summary screen. These are details that I currently have to enter manually, hence these need to be double-checked. Seeing these details on the summary screen would significantly speed up the approval workflow.

In the list view of "bills awaiting approval" it would be really helpful to have an option to display a column with the account the bill has been assigned to, and the VAT; this is the two items I need to check before approving bills and being able to just tick and approve most would save so much time.

Please add a setting option or a column for display details about "Account" in the table shown in "Bills to pay" instead of only showing "Ref" which the information of "Account" is important and moreover we don't need to waste time to entry "Ref" for checking.
