Hi team! We're happy to announce that the ability to roll forward existing workpaper packs, URL's and Notes is coming with our new Xero Workpapers. This new solution leverages permanent documents, and has improved data preservation to help minimise the manual rework each year, and get a head start with rolling over key information from previous years.
We're planning ongoing enhancements to this new solution to ensure your workflow is robust and intuitive. We're starting release to our Australian partners now, and other regions will have access from early 2026. We'll keep you updated as the launch for this goes wider.

🌟 Thanks so much for sharing this idea — and to everyone who’s added their support. We can see how valuable it would be to handle client approval for VAT returns within Xero, rather than needing to download and email them separately.

Hi everyone, our product teams are continuously reviewing and reprioritising their roadmaps for future work and although we don’t have any plans to change the credit application process this year, this is something we will investigate more closely in 2026.
As we begin to explore work for enabling credit notes in the bill payments flow, we’ll reach out for input to help us shape the design and approach so we cater for the widest possible requirements. Thank you all, and we’ll be back to share when exploration starts.

Hi everyone, we recognise that a more customisable payslip would provide greater clarity for your employees, better reflect your brand, and save you valuable time.
This isn’t in our immediate roadmap, however we get the benefit this would bring, and it’s on our radar for potential future development. Our product team will consider this idea as they do further roadmap planning.

Thanks for your engagement with this idea, team. Your feedback on how this feature would improve your efficiency and workflow has been invaluable. We're excited to share that we're actively working on a new Xero Workpapers with the ability to roll over workpaper packs including notes and documents, providing the breakdown of accounts sought after here. Without this - I'm finding it difficult to use Hubdoc as so many of our invoices are multi page.
