    You should be able to select a project code by typing the name/nr from Project field through the app, the same as from your desktop. At present in the app you have to scroll down, which is not efficient if you have numerous projects as our organisation has

    Purchase Order access should not automatically go with access to Bills, it should be Purchase Orders only. Can we have it automated so with Approval being sent to Line Manager via email. A bulk Purchase Order should show when its been partially billed ie. show the balance.

    Hi Lilly, with Xero expenses you can upload a copy of a receipt and have it auto capture the contents to create an expense through the app - See more on this here

    Is there a reason you'd prefer to email receipts to your org over the existing method? Will help when sharing back with the team.

    Prep-post Gross to Net rept is Critical its not a good idea to revert pay runs as I've done it before to correct a mistake on Xero's advice but tax codes change & it automatically updates in Xero changing the Net Pay, at this point the employee has already seen their payslip, the advice was to pay/deduct the difference. I don't think this is a viable option.

    Hey everyone 👋thanks so much for your ongoing feedback and commitment to supporting this idea.

    We understand the need for a straightforward process to download all payslips at once, particularly for WorkCover claims or employee requests where multiple payslips are required. We’re excited to let you know that our product team is now actively working on a solution to allow bulk downloading of payslips.

    In the meantime, you can use the Payroll Activity Details report to get a detailed breakdown of each payslip. It's also worth noting that employees can access and download their own payslips directly through the Xero Me portal.

    Hey team, we appreciate wanting to upload more employee details when setting them up. While we have recently released an updated process to bulk uploading employees, we want to be upfront that this only allows the bulk upload of basic fields such as names, dates of birth and addresses.

    This may be something we consider longer term and we would like to continue to track interest through the idea here.

    BULK IMPORT PAYROLL : Ability to import all bfwd information from another Payroll system into Xero, must include Personal details, BACS details, tax codes, Gross Annual Salaries, Pension contribution %tages, it is archaic to enter all these details manually!!! . At present the Xero Import Template is too basic, it must be adapted to simply add the fields you want to be imported by using the Xero name label. This is basic & can be fixed easily by Xero

    Hi community, we totally get why you'd like to easily track partially received goods or services against a single purchase order, and to see the remaining balance within Xero.

    With the new Purchase orders experience that’ll be coming soon, our team has paid close attention to the flows and different needs in managing supplier goods that have been expressed through product ideas.

    Our team is looking to solve needs for tracking partial amounts received, so we’ll keep you updated of progress surrounding this here. 🙂

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the number of users that'd like to see more mechanisms to assign and control who approves specific employee's claims.

    Our product teams have a close eye on this idea, and while this feature is not in the roadmap atm, they'll keep reviewing this as they continue to plan and prioritise work for Expenses. So, if there us any shift in status we'll share an update to keep you all informed on the idea, here.

    Hello everyone, appreciate all your feedback here. To be upfront, we don’t have any plans to develop the ability to reconcile clearing, control and non-bank accounts in the near future. 


    Some of the technology improvements going on across Xero will create more opportunities for us to explore extending some of the more complex functionality from one part of Xero to another. However, we are some way off from this yet. 


    That being said, there is the Account transaction report that could be handy in providing a view of both sides of a transaction in Xero. You can include the related account as a column in the report - See more in our help article on this.

    Alternatively, if you’re using an external system, you could look into the Xero App store

    Hi all, appreciate and understand the support in being able to automate processes such as communication of payment received with a customer.

    Though seemingly simple there are a few complexities that'd need to be accommodated for when considering the solution here - such as behaviour for re-reconciliations (Remove & redo has been used), split transactions or Mark as reconciled is used.

    Our product teams in this area are working on building on beautiful experiences throughout Bank Reconciliation, which you'd have  have experienced this first with the Reconcile tab and they are now moving through other pages and features in Bank Rec - This'll take some time and with that at the fore-front right now we want to be upfront that we don't have immediate plans to add an automated email when a transaction line is reconciled.

    As we embark work on the Account Transactions tab we'll be able to revisit…

    Thanks for your expressions and feedback in a bulk download or print facility for Files (either from the Files library or at an individual transaction level)
    We know that bulk operations can be handy, however at this time we have no plans to develop this functionality. We know it might seem like a small feat, however often even small change is more tightly woven and intricate to solve beneath the surface.
    While we understand this must be frustrating to hear, we’re currently focused on making improvements in other areas of Xero and are unable to prioritise a bulk download or print feature right now.
    However, in situations like these there are often connected apps through the Xero App Store that may be able to assist. We appreciate and will revise solutions that could fulfil needs in this space, but want to be honest this isn’t something we have plans for…

    Thank you for your contribution and support on the idea.  We understand that the ability to easily save and close in one click would benefit your workflows, however to be upfront we don't have direct plans for making this change within the payslip in the foreseeable future.

    We appreciate this is not the news you’d hope to hear, but we'd like to be open and transparent with you on this, here.
