183 votesHi everyone, while we don't have a direct report for this, some changes we've made to History & Notes in Xero will help in achieving what you're in need of here. You can run the History & Notes, filtering by Type = Contact and typing 'Bank account number' in the Search to just view results for this action. If needed you'll be able to export your results to PDF or Excel. Though the contact name doesn't show on screen, you can right click on the Contact in the report to open the contact's record in a new browser tab, that allows you to inspect details without navigating away from your History & Notes results. 728 votesHi community, we appreciate this idea has collected a fair amount of votes and commentary. This has all been feedback and taken seriously by our product teams. Currently, there are ways to record a bad debt in Xero, depending on your tax registration status and how you want the transactions to be recorded in your reports - We have help for this on Xero Central you can draw into. We don’t have any plans in the near term to expand functionality to develop a button to write off invoices or bills as 'bad debt'. If anything changes in this space, we’ll update you on this idea! 631 votesHi team, wanting to provide an update to you here, we want you to know we understand the efficiency more users would like to have in being able to automate the creation of the Xero subscription invoice inside their Xero org. To highlight from my last update for UK users this is possible with eInvoicing through the online invoice (My Bills page). This is still something we're interested in developing in more regions however isn't planned in our roadmap just yet. When resource opens up for us to be able to pick this work up we will share an update with you all on this here. Thanks for staying engaged and supporting in this idea. Sue Rowland

39 votesHi everyone, appreciate we haven't engaged directly in this idea sooner and reading through the detail of the original post here we do want to break this down a little to provide more clarity. It's correct that currently it's not possible to enter a number of hours leave if the request spans more than a day. We have another idea that's gathering support around this and we'd urge those interested in this to join. Similarly, we have another idea based around the permission to approve or decline leave request and provide read-only access to Payroll reports that you can support, here. Understanding the importance around being able to see history of events in payroll, you may have noticed we've rolled out payroll history to the employee record-level and most recently you can now see a history of user activity in the Organisation, Calendars, Pay Items, Superannuation & STP Settings… Sue Rowland

582 votesHey everyone 👋thanks so much for your ongoing feedback and commitment to supporting this idea. We understand the need for a straightforward process to download all payslips at once, particularly for WorkCover claims or employee requests where multiple payslips are required. We’re excited to let you know that our product team is now actively working on a solution to allow bulk downloading of payslips. In the meantime, you can use the Payroll Activity Details report to get a detailed breakdown of each payslip. It's also worth noting that employees can access and download their own payslips directly through the Xero Me portal. We'll keep you updated on our progress right here. 🙂 Sue Rowland

414 votesHey community, we want to acknowledge all the feedback you’ve provided on this idea. We know from your comments here and through other channels that taking deposits or partial payments on invoices is a crucial part of the workflow for many businesses, whether it's to cover initial costs or to confirm a new project. In terms of current options, within Xero there is the ability to create prepayments. Alternatively there are some third-party apps that serve these needs, too. However, we do want to share that our product team is actively working on a solution that'll allow you to request and accept deposit payments. While we can't give specifics on a timeline as yet, please know that this is a priority for us. We're grateful for the detailed feedback you've provided so far, which has been invaluable in getting us to this point. We’ll be sure to keep you updated… Sue Rowland

497 votesThanks for everyone's support in this idea. We understand the strong feelings expressed in your comments, where an invoice can be accidentally approved when still needing to go through a review or remain in a draft status. As suggested by some users in this thread, if this has already occurred an option for now would be to add a note to the history of the invoice so other users are aware of the action and what needs to be done, or alternatively Void the invoice and copy to a new Draft invoice (consider if you need to change the invoice # before voiding the approved one, so you can use this on the new draft invoice). While not a resolution for this idea, to avoid mistakenly approving an invoice an option could be to make use of the keyboard shortcuts that are now available in invoicing such as Save &… Sue Rowland

633 votesHi everyone, we appreciate how automatically sending statements could improve cash flows, and save the manual efforts involved in this periodic task. We recognise the importance of this functionality, and with a clear focus on decreasing the time it takes for our customers to receive payments, I’m pleased to share that this idea is now In discovery. 😊 While we can’t give any commitments to development yet, this is a good step in the right direction and we’ll be sure to update you on progress from the exploration here. Thanks! Sue Rowland

1,469 votesHi community, we acknowledge the strong feelings in this idea and why you need a feature to flag bills directly within Xero. We really appreciate all your feedback and the detailed explanations of how this would help streamline your accounts payable. We are dedicated to providing a solution for this over the longer term, but this will take some time requiring changes that sit beneath the face of bills. In lieu of a direct feature for this we wanted to highlight some of the options discussed by the community here: - Add a note to the bill: A detailed note on the bill itself can serve as a clear internal reminder of the dispute.
- Utilise tracking categories: Creating a specific tracking category like "Disputed Bills" can help you filter and report on these items.
- Adjust the due date: Temporarily extending the due date can prevent accidental payment while the dispute is…

416 votesHi everybody, coming across from the previous forums we know this idea has a lot of interest. There is a way of using Xero's reports to accomplish what you're asking here and save the format so you can easily access and send this report to your customers outside of Xero. Running the Aged Receivables detail report you can choose how many ageing periods you'd like to show and set the period to '30 days'. Simply Filter the report by Contact and Update to run. - Once you've got it set up, save as Custom so you can easily access this format anytime
- If you deal with groups of contacts this also means you could Filter for multiple contacts to combine the view into one report rather than multiple customer statements 🙂
- Export the report to PDF, where you can send to customers from your email system outside of Xero
 We appreciate… Sue Rowland

4 votesHi community, we appreciate the original raising of this idea some time ago. To be open, with STP2 now released and majority of organisations having already updated their employees we want to be upfront we don't have plans for making this change. Sue Rowland

118 votesWe appreciate the support in being able to combine multiple expenses, here. At present, this isn't something we have planned, but we'll continue to keep a pulse on the interest for this here. Currently, from the web there is an option to 'Approve all' expenses for a single employee. 🙂 Sue Rowland

163 votesHi everyone, thanks for your contributions to this idea. We appreciate your feedback about the challenges in ensuring all billable costs are recovered, and your desire for an improved experience. As noted by others in the idea, there are some features that will give some visibility of billable expenses at present. - You can 'View bills not assigned to projects', and
- there is the Outstanding billable expense report as some have shared which shows outstanding items you've assigned as billable to customers
Understanding the value more visibility of unassigned bills would have for customers, this is something we’ll continue to review in future planning but isn’t in the current roadmap. We'll be sure to update you all if this gets picked up. Sue Rowland

286 votesHi everyone, we appreciate the number of users that'd like to see more mechanisms to assign and control who approves specific employee's claims. Our product teams have a close eye on this idea, and while this feature is not in the roadmap atm, they'll keep reviewing this as they continue to plan and prioritise work for Expenses. So, if there us any shift in status we'll share an update to keep you all informed on the idea, here. Sue Rowland

50 votesHi Tina, just thinking in lieu of this feature atm - To help get a view of bills that don't have an assigned planned date you can click the Planned date header to sort all bills by planned date and this will also group all bills with no planned date. 🙂 Sue Rowland

Aged Accounts receivable/payable reports - The ability to filter out the current invoices/bills so that only overdue ones were included would be useful.
