Surely the people designing this are not regular users and I sufficient effort is being allocated to enhancements.

Hi team, while we began work on developing the ability search and sort by tasks in Projects the teams focus had to shift to other priority work and we want to be open that this has been put down for now.
When there is the ability to pick this back up we'll return to share with you here.

Sorry to hear your're not satisfied with Xero Expenses, Jeremy. Appreciate there are a few things that you've noted that you feel could enhance your experience when using expenses.
We do try to keep one idea per thread to make it simple for community to understand what they're adding their support and to help share this back with our product teams. I've adjusted the title of your idea here to reflect exporting expenses. We have an idea for changing the sort order here, and you're welcome to start new ideas for any other points you've shared too.

Hi team, appreciate your interest of this idea. While we don't have direct development for this planned right now we wanted to share a workaround that may help you here.
When adding the billable expenses to an invoice, you can override the unit price. Using Xero's inbuilt calculator, you include margin/mark-up by multiplying the unit price by the percentage you wish to mark up.
We understand this doesn't cover all situations of needs expressed. We will continue to monitor this idea and share if there's any progress.

Hi everyone, we appreciate the importance of being able to view and understand where billable expenses have and haven't been assigned. While we have keen eyes on the idea here, with other big pieces of work on the go we want to be open that this is not in the roadmap atm.
We want you to know we're taking on board all your feedback here, and will continue to stay across this, and keep you updated of any news or progress that'll improve visibility for your needs here.Andrew Weller supported this idea · -

We appreciate the support in being able to combine multiple expenses, here.
At present, this isn't something we have planned, but we'll continue to keep a pulse on the interest for this here.
Currently, from the web there is an option to 'Approve all' expenses for a single employee. 🙂

An error occurred while saving the comment Andrew Weller commentedThe fact that this suggestion has been made since the very outset of the new expenses capability and still is not fixed is beyond me.
We only have a small business but the need to search expenses is very frequent - warranty claims, avoiding double ups, looking for missed expenses.Andrew Weller supported this idea ·
Such an obvious thing, and we pay extra for the "New Expenses" and this sort of basic capability along with a search function still cannot be provided? Seriously, there are inadequate resources deployed to new basic functionality yet our subscriptions keep going up in price.
