Hi community - There are a few shortcuts that can help you get around and create transactions from many screens in Xero.
The '+' icon next to Search in the blue banner enables you to create a range of different document types, similarly there are shortcuts that can be entered in Search from the blue navigation bar that will take you to different features for example entering 'r' you can quickly select and be taken to 'All reports'
Are there other specific shortcuts you'd want to see here?

Hi community, thanks for sharing your continued interest here. We appreciate the importance of having assurance that mail you send from Xero is being received, and that being able to send from your own company email would increase confidence in this process.
I can confirm this idea has been regularly reviewed by our product teams, and being able to send from your own company email is on their radar. Currently there are other priorities, and platform work that requires their attention, before they can consider this more deeply.
We'll move the idea back to submitted so we can continue to gauge the interest through votes here. When there is opportunity to pick this up, I will share any news with you all here.

Appreciate your input here, everyone. Our team is looking into this idea however, they don't have any dates planned on when they’ll develop the ability to schedule emails.
Totally understand how this feature could benefit your workflow though, being able to schedule an email to send during acceptable hours, so you don’t have to remember!
Rest assured that our eyes are on the ground monitoring your feedback and votes here, so please keep adding them in this thread. For the time being, I’ll move this idea into ‘Under review’ status. And if there's any movement, we'll make sure to come back here and let you all know.

Hi everyone, a few different asks within the idea here and I'd like to confirm what is currently possible to help clarify.
We have recently released a new send modal with new invoicing - with this update you now have the ability to cc and Bcc emails when sending individual invoices from Xero with new invoicing.
While it's not possible to set default cc and Bcc email at the email template level at present this may be something we look into further down the line and we will keep you updated of any planned improvements through this idea.
For the time being, if there are other people for a contact that you'd like to ensure also receive emails you can add them as additional people to the Contact record and select to 'Include this person in emails sent to this contact'

Hi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate your input and letting us know your appetite for being able to set the Reply to address for your Xero organisation, here in the idea. As many will have seen with new invoicing, our team have begun testing and making small change to the send experience. While we've been able to make these changes when developing other areas of Xero, we want to be upfront that we don't have a timeframe of when we'll upgrade the email settings page just yet, but this is something we will get to in time - when we do our team will also review the Reply to address options as part of this. So, though there is no movement to share on this just yet please know we will let you know here as soon as there is.

As the accountant and the administrator, I find it bizarre that the person changing the bank details gets the notification and not a nominated individual/Group.
There is no blocking on Xero for us to stop people editing just the bank details so anyone can change it and for me to verify the bank details we have to take this offline so we can make sure nothing has been amended. This functionality surely needs to be added.

Hi everyone, while we don't have a direct report for this, some changes we've made to History & Notes in Xero will help in achieving what you're in need of here.
You can run the History & Notes, filtering by Type = Contact and typing 'Bank account number' in the Search to just view results for this action.
If needed you'll be able to export your results to PDF or Excel.
Though the contact name doesn't show on screen, you can right click on the Contact in the report to open the contact's record in a new browser tab, that allows you to inspect details without navigating away from your History & Notes results.

We appreciate the interest gathered on this idea, everyone. At this time we don't have any immediate changes planned for lock dates, but as we continue to develop parts of Xero this is something we'll consider as a possible enhancement for lock dates. If there's any news I'll be sure to update you here.

Hi everyone, thanks for the interest in this idea.
As you can appreciate, user roles span across the entire Xero product so there’s many combinations of permissions our customers want to see us build. Specifically, our reporting product team is very much aware of the challenges with the current permission sets relating to sharing individual reports with different users and are beginning to look into how we might be able to alleviate some of these reporting challenges.
However, at this stage it’s far too early to anticipate or confirm any direction on where this discovery work will lead, but it will inform our next steps. Additionally, as I'm sure you can appreciate there are sensitivities of data access and security. Creating upgrades to user permissions will need very careful consideration. We are currently having some issues with communication from Xero, we are having to manually manipulate the email addresses when we send out documents. This is becoming tedious when sending out remittances/statements as we're having to go through one by one which defeats the point of sending in batches.
We should be able to set up on the contact card an email address for Invoices, statements, PO's and then maybe a generic contact.
For example see below and screenshot, even if there is a possibility we can add multiple email addresses' to one contact email.
