    Hi everyone, we appreciate the feedback we've received on this change and while this was an intentional change this is something our product teams are monitoring feedback of very closely and considering improvements around in the new clients experience.

    While we can't make any commitments atm I will be certain to share any plans with you all here.

    Thanks for feeding back on the Client search, Carey. The way that search works for the new client list experience is a little different to the older experience, and partial matching is not a feature with this new search.

    While it's not in our roadmap atm, our team are keen to stay close the support this idea receives and will consider in future planning. I'll share if there are any updates here.

    I can see how having pinned notes visible on the main information page would be a huge help, especially for spotting critical warnings like credit holds without having to click through different tabs.


    Currently, pinned notes are only visible when you are specifically viewing the Notes tab of a contact. As a workaround, many users add "!!!" or "HOLD" to the beginning of the Contact Name field so it is visible on every screen and summary page throughout Xero.


    I’ve moved your suggestion into Gaining Support under the following title: Contacts - Suggestion for improvement: Display Pinned Notes on the contact information summary page


    This will allow other members to vote on the request and help our product teams gauge the demand for this UI change.

    Show number of tax returns currently open on the Client Profile. This used to be a feature until the recent update. We can see the number of Jobs, Quotes, and Invoices, but not Tax Returns unless you click on the tab.

    Hi Emily! We really appreciate your feedback on this. At this moment, the information we pull is directly from the ATO exclusively for one sole return, and so won't automatically fill into the young adult/teenagers return as you've found.

    Thanks for the comprehensive and exhaustive idea around how contact and client details could be included when invoices are synched from XPM to Xero blue. As you may know there is a new platform (PartnerHub) which you may be aware of, and will be released fully in the near future. You may find that the issue is covered in the new experience. We will move this to Gaining Support so the community can get behind this add their votes and comments.

    Hi Megan, thanks for your feedback on the new Partner Hub experience when entering client addresses. Your input is valuable to and appreciated. We have moved this idea to Gaining Support and the Product team will be looking over all the feedback from our customers/partners so they can get a better idea of the experience and functionality of the new platform.     Hi team, Xero Partner Hub was recently announced at Xerocon and will bring with it a whole heap of great changes we know our partners have been wanting to see. When building this, our team paid great attention to what our partners had been asking for in Product ideas and I'm pleased to share that within the new client experiences there will be a new field for Place of Birth on a Clients record. 😊 We appreciate your support through the product idea forums and will keep you updated as this rolls out.     Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your appetite in this idea. You may have seen some of the improvements coming with Xero Partner Hub soon as we unify the client and staff experiences across practice tools.

    We want to be open that there are no changes planned for syncing contacts from Xero blue into Xero Partner Hub at this stage but we'll continue to keep a close eye on the interest here and share if any plans are made.
