Hi team, we appreciate all the feedback this idea has received over time. With our reimagined navigation this is something our product teams considered closely, however there is a bit of work involved to achieve what's being asked and we want to be open it's not in the roadmap right now. However, we're keeping a pulse on the feedback here and will be sure to share if there's any progress. Thanks

Hi team, thanks for showing interest in this idea.
While we don't have any plans for adding this within Xero atm, as mentioned in my last update if you're working on a desktop you can use the 'Home' button on a Windows, or on a Mac you can press the 'Command' key + Left arrow.
This should help when navigating a long lists or pages like reports.
We will continue to track the appetite through this idea.

To have the option of a button or arrow to take us back to the top of the screen would be useful especially on transaction pages when having to move through several pages it does not move automatically to the top of the page for the previous dates and when selecting more transactions at one time, it is very frustrating

Hi everyone, we appreciate the attention this idea has been getting. It's really good to hear how we can continue to improve the Homepage for our differing customers needs. We understand not all the widgets maybe useful to every user, and the 'Customise' button will let you add or remove widgets to reduce what you see on the Homepage.
Taking on board feedback we're looking at the sizing of widgets and you'll find the 'Chart of Accounts' and 'Cash in and out' widgets are now smaller by default with an option to 'Make larger' - You can follow further updates for this on the idea here.
We have plans to dig deeper into possible 'view' options (like the different levels of views being asked here) in the new year and I'll share further updates here when this gets picked up. 🙂

This would be such a good idea if it can be saved for individual users to enable those that do not want to see or do not need access to everything on the homepage

This would be such a useful tool and something my client constantly asks about especially regarding director liabilities and dividends.
With regards to self assessment, it would be much easier to have this function to work out director and self assessment liabilities when not having to request the information mostly available in xero -

Thanks for sharing your idea, Claire.
We'll track the interest for a warning if the supplier bank account in Hubdoc if the this differs to Xero, here.

It would be such a good tool if the bank account is verified as part of the payment process. Bank accounts do change and close, therefore I would rather the transaction checked at time of processing rather than being notified of a late payment due and trying to track this with the bank

Thanks for your input here, everyone. Our team is currently looking into adding a document merge feature into their roadmap. However, no dates are planned for when this will be implemented.
That said, we’ll move the status of the idea into ‘Under review’, so please continue to add your vote and give us your comment on how this feature can improve your workflow.
For now, you can merge your documents outside Hubdoc, then upload/email it into Hubdoc. Feel free to also share some options here on how you merge the documents before you put it into Hubdoc.

Hi Mark, thanks for this excellent and clearly detailed suggestion.
We understand the workflow you're proposing: when a bill from Hubdoc is reconciled in Xero, its status should automatically sync back and be marked as 'Paid' in Hubdoc.
We're grateful for your engagement and for letting us know the changes that matter to you.
We've reviewed your idea for the 'Paid' status to sync from Xero back to Hubdoc, and now it can gain support from other community members. Along with votes, others can now comment to share additional detail about how this two-way sync would improve their experience.

Xero does not link back paid invoices either! This would be so useful as I have to keep going back to Hubdoc to mark invoices as paid and this is so frustrating. Syncing to and from hubdoc and Xero would be so much more effective and save time to deal with more important matters

I personally only need to upload the invoice, not the paperwork that attaches as the email body of text, but do think the multiple pages option should be available for invoices attaching to 1 entry as well as uploading several documents

It would be so useful to enable more pages to be uploaded to one upload, having to split invoices is not convenient and not accepted by my accountant, they need the whole document not just a page!

I do not wish to have face ID and believe it should be an option not mandatory, but I do agree with the comments about the authentication function being slow and inconvenient, if Hubdoc app could be fixed not to keep signing out it would be much more user friendly.

Hi team, we appreciate interest in a specific annual CIS statement. While this isn't in our immediate plans right now you can run the CIS Contractor return for a custom date range.
If you then select individual subcontractors and download this will be the annual statement.
We'll continue to track interest from community in the idea here and if there's any news will share for you all.
