Xero Expenses - Limit the selection of VAT rates available for employees to select (we have a client who has domestic reverse charge, reverse charge and other VAT rates that the employees will never need to select and therefore it would be better to reduce the available list for them to select from otherwise they are more likely to select the wrong rate)

    On the repeating invoices tab, can we please have the total amount showing of repeating monthly invoices.. Just as it shows the awaiting invoices value on that tab.

    This will help business keep an eye on their recurring value income.

  4. Project Summary Report always had actual hours and estimated hours on and since it has been updated this option is no longer available and that is 2 of the most important columns for us. Also the wording of the headings have changed and no longer match the Project Details report which is ridiculous. This report needs to be converted back to how they used to be.

  5. The old Supplier Invoice Report which is due to be turned off in July displayed the totals for the gross and outstanding balance columns in the original currency. This doesn't appear to be possible in the new version of the report, even when it is grouped or filtered by original currency so that items with the same currency appear together.

    Can this be added before July please, or failing that, keep the old version of the report in place until it has been done?

    Whilst we have added in a column for original currency, it's not possible to view subtotals for this column.

    Understand that there's some interest from the community in this feature, so we're re-opening this idea to continue to collect feedback 😊

  6. Ability to see timesheet function for employees who are on salaries.

  7. Xero Payroll Journal non-cash option for the Cash Summary

    Currently all transactions from the Payroll Journal will pull through to the Cash Summary Report. The information that pulls through doesn't differentiate what has being paid from a bank account or non-cash.

    Suggestion to add a functionality in Xero Payroll and exclude certain items from the Payroll Journal from automatically showing in the Cash Summary Report.

  8. To be able to Assign & invoice a billing client within blue Xero. It’s not unusual to have a central billing agency looking after subsidiaries accounts so the ability to bill the agency while having the subsidiary with thin your system to raise the invoice against would work well.

  9. Typically Xero calculates all PAYG tax to be withdrawn from employees to the nearest dollar. Correct. However, the same check isn't in place if you manually add extra tax. In the past, I included extra tax to be withdrawn from an employee and included cents in the amount. At tax prep time, this caused a headache for my accountant. Xero could easily prevent this each time or warn you closer to the end of financial year to get back on track with zero cents.

  10. BNZ do not provide receivers with online access to accounts. Xero only allow BNZ bank feeds to be updated online. Receiving timely access to transactions is very important but BNZ & Xero have decided to cease this feature and not provide a solution for all customers.

  12. Please fix the Schedule 5 PAYG calculation to include YTD commissions and bonuses as well as ordinary earnings. This is causing issues with tax not calculating automatically because the employee's only form of income is from commissions (real estate industry) and they are forced to report it under commissions for STP Phase 2 yet the calculation things they have $0 YTD earnings.

  13. If you send an Invoice per mail to a client, a credit note that is linked to the invoice should be attached to the mail with the invoice too.
    Currently, you have to send two separate mails.
    If you send an invoice, you have several check boxes like "add invoice as pdf". There should be the option "add credit not as pdf".

  16. When in account transactions (or any report where you can select a date range) have a button to move that date range one month forwards or one month back.

    For example if you have the date range selected as 01.08.2022-31.08.2022 have a backwards button that would change this automatically to 01.07.2022- 31.07.2022 or a forwards button that would change this to 01.09.2022-30.09.2022 without having to go in and manually change the date to every month.

    This would be very helpful when doing detailed reconciliations on a monthly basis so you can move between the months much quicker. I know you…

  18. Bill Due Date

    At the moment the due date can't be set as prior to the bill's actual date. We self-bill a lot of customers on a monthly basis, but pay them on 27th or the last working day before then. We would like to set the bill date to the last day of the month, but can't.

  19. In the Files area, there are some that you do not know of until you opened them, and upon seeing them, it's not needed for the business. You have to close the file, either select the checkbox then delete, or the option button on the right to delete. Can you add a Delete function upon opening the file so we don't have to click close just to delete unwanted files? Thank you!.
