  1. After adding a bill to pay, there is an option to add another bill. I suggest another option, "Add another bill from this vendor". I often process more than one bill from the same company.

  2. When viewing a contact, the options to "add group" and "remove group" are two separate functions, making moving a contact from one group to another very clunky. This request is to combine the add/remove feature, so you can simply select/unselect which groups a contact is in. This would mean that to move a contact from one group to another, you would simply deselect the old group checkbox and check the new group checkbox.

  3. It would be extremely useful to be able to either
    1. export the main data from all purchase orders / or
    2. be able to make up a custom report

    Ie: Supplier, date / reference / ETA / Salesperson / dollar / Revenue identity etc.
    Used For: Sales team, Customer order ETA's etc

  5. I have voted for the idea "Switch Rules - Notes to Financial Accounts" but would like to also propose an idea that may be of benefit if that one is too complex to implement.

    Enable a rule that allows an account to be shown/hidden depending on the balance.

    For example - if Accounts Receivable is a credit balance then it will display, if it has a negative balance it is hidden.
    That means that the Accounts Receivable account could be added to two schedules in the report, but will only show in one, which should align with switch rules in…

    Appreciate you thinking of other ways to solve something, Jessica. With a lot of the reporting teams concentration on elements to redevelop the most vying features from older reports in the new before their removal later this year I want to be open that we don't have this in pour plans at this stage. 

    We'll start to get a sense of the interest for this here, and let you know if there are any changes. 

  6. Ability to customise how data is entered - decimal places. To speed up data entry the user should be able to have a setting where they can opt to have the decimal place automatically entered. I.e. type in 12345 and the result is 123.45

  8. When creating quotes, there is not enough space to add our Terms and Conditions in the relevant field. There are nowhere near enough characters. Please can you increase the size of that, and also allow us to have smaller text there too. We have long terms and it's very important we get them in.

    Hi team, while we don't have plans to increase the space directly within the Quote on Xero there are two ways you could go about adding larger terms to your Quotes. You could;

    1. Attach the (externally created) file with the full T&Cs to each quote as it is created, and then include it as an attachment
    2. Use an advanced invoice template for your invoices/quote etc - making the document the second page of the advanced template.

    Thanks for the feedback about our forums here themselves, Freya. 

    Appreciate wanting to get a view of the ideas you've started. 

    It's not possible on the platform itself currently, however if you select the option to 'Export my data' from your Settings and Activity page you'll receive a few files, one of which is a CSV of all the ideas you've started and the URL to be able to view these online 

  10. Ability to import leave requests using CSV files.

    Purpose: To save users time from having to manually create a request to the employee, and approve it. This will also help if they’re using a third party that allows them to export CSV.

  14. At the moment to reconcile a PDQ payment we have to manual reconcile to the invoice - this means we have to enter the order number and tick them off, we are running at over 300 orders a day so this can take up to 2 hours a day. It would be good to get the list from Elavon's portal and upload to Xero, so to match them automatically - then leaving us needing only to spot any difference.

  17. Xero should reduce Ordinary hours below nil when leave requests are input for the current/previous weeks if the total leave exceeds normal ordinary hours. Eg FT employee 38hrpw is off all current week on leave in addition to 7.6hrs for a day last week not previously processed. Currently, in this situation Xero will not reduce Ordinary hours below Nil and would pay the employee 45.6hours as leave. A manual adjustment is needed to reduce Ordinary hours to minus 7.6hrs to correctly pay the employee.

    Hi Angeline, currently once you 'Make a payment' for a batch payment you'll be taken to the payment transaction so you could decide whether to send remittance or export the file for up;load to your bank. 

    While not a complete resolve for your idea here, you may find the ability to set a default page for your new bills experience useful so when you select 'Bills to pay' from the Business menu you're automatically taken to your Awaiting payment tab?
