  2. When receiving a superannuation bounce back amount, it would be really great to be able to click into a Superannuation Payment Details batch that has been processed and export to Excel, to be able to search and calculate totals to match the bounced back super.

  3. In addition to individual accounts, it would be great to select a group total from the Balance Sheet (or P & L) to put in the Account Watchlist, eg if you have a number of loans and you want to see what Total Loans are on the dashboard.

    Thanks for sharing the idea here, however, we're going to move this idea to not planned as we don't have any plans of moving the placement of the 'Copy and edit' button within a report. 

    You'll find within all Xero's reports the bottom options bar is frozen, so you can find this option permanently on the page. 

  5. Currently you can add a discount of any amount including 100% on an invoice. However if you have a 100% discount the nominal ledger account doesn't save - so you can't report on it. We would like to know all subsidies across all courses but can't currently do this as if we have a fully funded course the NL code won't save so is left blank.

  7. currently we put all of our mileage through as an expense claim and then make a bath payment once it is a certain amount, however when creating the batch payment, the report produced at the end just simply stated expense claim. this can be clicked to go in individually however it would be nice if the description for that expense could also be shown so that it produces a better overview of what is being paid. even if this is just an option to add different columns that it can be selected from, that would improve things.

    Would still need to consider an optional trigger here as different businesses process projects in different ways. 

    Appreciate the efficiency play and while this isn't something we have plans for atm, we'll track the interest of this here. 

  9. At the moment when entering a bill from a new supplier I can only enter the name of the supplier in the bill, then go into contacts to add their details.

    It would be more convenient if there was a button to add contact as new, and have a pop-up page where I can add more details of those suppliers from bill page.

    Sometimes when working through many invoices from new suppliers it's hard to remember which contacts need to be revisited to add details especially contact details and bank details for batch payments.

    Hi team, thanks for sharing with us on this idea. I'm pleased to share that this is something our product teams have plans to work on developing into the quick view of an invoice (from the list) soon. I'll keep you updated of further progress, here.

  10. I have voted for the idea "Switch Rules - Notes to Financial Accounts" but would like to also propose an idea that may be of benefit if that one is too complex to implement.

    Enable a rule that allows an account to be shown/hidden depending on the balance.

    For example - if Accounts Receivable is a credit balance then it will display, if it has a negative balance it is hidden.
    That means that the Accounts Receivable account could be added to two schedules in the report, but will only show in one, which should align with switch rules in…

    Appreciate you thinking of other ways to solve something, Jessica. With a lot of the reporting teams concentration on elements to redevelop the most vying features from older reports in the new before their removal later this year I want to be open that we don't have this in pour plans at this stage. 

    We'll start to get a sense of the interest for this here, and let you know if there are any changes. 

  11. can you please increase the capacity for downloading general ledgers because at the moment it seems very limited. Often we have to send large files and the capacity at the moment is insufficient

  12. Please can we have the option to opt an employee out before running a pay run? It is a bit annoying to have to then refund deductions the following month and employees question it as they think they have opted out!

  13. Managers who have the ability to approve leave in Xero Me should be able to view historical leave requests they've approved so they can anticipate when staff are away. Currently, they cannot do this unless they have Payroll Admin access and a Xero account on a web browser. Not all managers are finance people and need to have this access.

  14. In Australia one of the criteria to classify as a "small buisiness" is to have 15 or less employees.

    Could this also be reflected in Xero's pricing which jumps from 10 employees on payroll to 20.

    It would be nice to have a meet half way mark with a fair price for 15 employess.

  15. I have multiple clients for whom I perform varying tasks. I log in and work on their accounts with my practice email.

    When sending invoices on clients' behalf, or paying bills to clients' suppliers, the copy invoice or remittance advice goes to my practice email as I am the logged in user. The person/company who needs this copy is my client (whose email is the 'reply to').

    At present I have to then log into my emails and forward the copies to my clients manually, (as filters get confused) and ensuring it is the correct client if I have been…

Rather than requesting or sharing the Xero Network key, if we receive an invoice from a supplier that is submitted through Xero .. we should have an option to add the supplier for eInvoicing with a clickable button "Add supplier for eInvoicing in future" .... this way, as a customer, I am in control and opt-in myself rather than administrative burden of requesting / sharing network keys

    Hi everyone, we've released a new send modal for new invoicing in Xero. As part of this update you now have a rich text editor that allows for small formatting changes such as bold, italics, underlining and the ability to insert emojis. 

    You'll also find other improvements like the ability to cc and bcc emails, and have more visibility of your emails and the PDF of the invoice with a preview on the left of the screen. 

    While this is limited to new invoicing at present, we will look into surfacing this to other areas of the product over time. We'll let you know of any further change for this, here. 

  18. We have started working with a new bank and they use OFX v2. It seems Xero only supports v1.
    Would be great if Xero can support this new version of OFX.

  20. atm if a client asks what is included in a figure in the accounts, I can only manually deduce that, or generate a spreadsheet analysing all the Trial Balance into the headings (the tagging screen is quick reference for generating this) but surely it should be possible to run a report.

    Hi Malcolm, returning to your idea here it would be good to get more understanding if there are specific figures or reports your customers are asking about or you'd want to track the make up of?

    Atm it's possible to edit the layout of the Profit & Loss of Balance sheet reports to either show a total of grouped accounts or have these all listed amounts that show the individual accounts within each section.
