Bank Feed - Refresh Bank Feed confirmation
Once the bank feed(s) have been refreshed, have a pop up confirming that. In the past, I assumed it was completed after the refresh circulating icon had finished only to discover this was not the case as there was actually an issue with my bank and Xero.

Projects - quote for a number of visits a year - NOT time specific visits.
In Projects I would like the option to create a quote, track and invoice my client where the charge is per "session" Currently Tasks are either fixed price (which does not allow me to quote for a quantity of the same item over the course fo the project) or they are hourly based and my client does not wish the time spent to be shown on the quote or invoice. Ability to upload pictures for inventory items into Xero.
Purpose: To easily identify each inventory that was inputted in Xero.

Reporting - Ability to sort notes alphabetically
On the notes section to the financial reports in adviser reports templated under the groups, I would like the accounts selected to be in alphabetical order. At the moment the only option is to manually drag and drop - with a large number of accounts this is extremely time consuming. An automated function would assist.

Contacts - Add notes/categories to contact email addresses
It would be really helpful to be able to add a note/comment next to contact email addresses. Such as "Use if sending a remittance", "Only use for purchase orders" or "Business owner - only email if urgent". These comments could sit under or beside the email address in the contact's edit section so that it doesn't crowd the side bar of information. That way we don't annoy the customer by sending some emails to the wrong account and we also don't need to keep sticky notes for such specific customer details for each of our many clients.

AU Payroll - Set up birthday and apprenticeship anniversaries reminders in Xero Payroll
It would be very helpful if there were the ability to set up Reminders in Xero Payroll for certain dates such as birthdays and apprenticeship anniversaries so that you would know to change the employee's Pay Rate accordingly.

we would like the client to be able to attach documents to a pay run, either in this section ( see attached) or perhaps to an employee. Especially helpful when pay on system doesn't agree with Bank, would help us when there are unexplained variances etc3 votes -
Xero Me | Expenses - Remove Employee from 'Nothing to review'
It would be useful to be able to remove employees who are no longer working for the company from the Xero Expenses app. It's annoying having their names pop up under the "Nothing to review" section as it's easy to continue to file expenses under their name even though they no longer work for the company.

Contacts - Change the name for the Customers contact group to Clients
Right now you have to add a group to see clients together, but I'm hoping that one day we can simply change the category name of "Customers" to "Clients" to customize Xero for legal, insurance, marketing and many allied health practitioners who see clients.

Cheques - Remove this function in South Africa
Although this is not a new product idea, it is rather a option removal idea. Recently a option has appeared on the Business tab for Cheques to be printed on bank provided stationary. We do not use Cheques in South Africa anymore and is clearly a function isolated to maybe the US whose banking system is still in the paper age. However new customers are always asking what is this function and then it takes our accountants some time to explain they cannot use it.

AU Payroll | Add opening balance for Working Holiday Maker tax rate
Please add an opening balance for the Working Holiday Maker tax rate
When a Working Holiday Maker (WHM) reaches the earning threshold of $45000 they must be taxed 32.5% (instead of 15% prior to $45K per financial year). When an employee is set up in Xero as a WHM this tax calculation is automatic as along as the full $45K was earned with the current employer. If the employee has earned $45K prior to starting with a new employer Xero will calculate the WHM tax as 15% instead of 32.5% and there is no option to set an opening balance.…

Bill List - Direct debit or Disputes highlighted
In the Bills to Pay-Awaiting for Payment-Planned Date, if Xero can add two more features for 'disputes/pending' and 'direct debit/SO' options this help to ease to browse again and again who's not scheduled to pay.

Manual Journals - Code to bank accounts.
Enable us to include bank transactions as part of journal entries, which will show up in bank reconciliation to be matched.
Often journal entries have bank transactions as part of entry (for example, property purchase closing statement and payroll transactions)
Right now you have to find workarounds (i.e. clearing/wash accounts) to post these entries accurately.

Reporting | Financial statements - Adjust formatting
Please consider adding more customisable options for the financial statements as they do not look professional when compared with Sage Handisoft reports (for instance).
Just to start off, there should be an option to remove the horizontal lines across the page on each account and heading, change indentation, font & in particular font size. The font size is so small it should be close to double that!

With Report styles Partners can now set logos, change the colour of report titles and size of the font in reports, across client organisations.
We appreciate there are other improvements mentioned that you'd like to see capabilities expanded too and will continue to track the interest and share any more improvements of this with you all.

Project Financial Report - include Account Code
Include account code as a field on all Project Reports to filter/summarise/group by.
Currently, all 'expenses' are clumped together under one project item type.
To manage a project properly, it is important to see the costs for individual elements such as 'labour' 'materials' 'travel expenses' sub-contractor costs' etc (or however account codes are set for the business'
In the Construction Industry especially we always refer to other projects when pricing up for similar ones, and in Xero there is no way to see this breakdown. This was possible in Sage
