Hi it would be really good if when searching for client statements in xero that the date in the 'and' box populates to the current date rather than one month previous, as its quite annoying having to change that to the current date all the time. I would think most people would prefer to be able to see the most up to date figures.

    Hi Terry, we don't have any plans for extending the payment services we offer with Xero in the near term. However if you have a payment service that doesn't currently integrate with Xero you can see if they have a custom URL with placeholders that can be applied to your invoice template in Xero. 

    We have a bit of information on this here, however you'll also need to touch baser with Zeller to request the custom URL that you can include, from them. 

  3. It shouldn't be so difficult to assign expenses to customers or projects, an expense or spend money item shouldn't need to be edited to add it to a customer or project.
    Simplifying this process could be as simple as an extra column that can be enabled on the Account Transactions view and if a transaction isn't assigned to a project or expense then it can be simply clicked in the column and the customer or project selected.
    Additionally Bank Rules should be able to include the option to assigned to customers or projects, if we have a client that charges…

  4. Hi there, it would be great if we were able to edit the due dates of invoices that were created in a now locked period, our business (and I'm sure many others) have invoices with due dates that often change.

    We do not need to change anything other than the invoice due dates so if this could be added even as an optional feature for a locked period that would be very useful.

  5. Currently this badge is displayed for the additional people only when there's at least a first name associated with them, but often our "additional people" are only email addresses with no first/last names, an the only way to see whether the "included in emails" option has been enabled for them is to enter two nested edit modes (4 clicks total). This is really unnecessary. Just display the badge if the box has been checked!

  6. When bulk importing invoices, I want everything to have the same item code and description.

    BUT when they import, the item description does not pull through.

    And the item code needs reclicking to make it pull through.

    Therefore, you have to go into every invoice individually.

    It should be updated so that when you import invoices, everything pulls through correctly.

  7. Flag duplicate leave entries on the same day
    We are extracting leave data through API to manage resourcing including leave booked. We have a few cases of employees with duplicate leave on the same day entered and approved in error. It would be great to see a flag or warning pop up to approvers and payroll admins where more than a standard number of hours leave is applied to a given day. The number of hours comprising a working day could ideally be set for each employee.

  12. Our contact cards are set up automatically through an API directly from our billing systems (we have multiple systems that are all coded differently). Fields like currency and branding are not updated with this link; therefore, the fields default to our Xero account settings. We want to export the contact card list with these fields to identify the clients with information that needs updating, to then fix and import in one step instead of updating each card.

  13. In the aged receivable reports (summary and detail) Xero currently assigns any invoice that is due today to the "< 1 Month" column. But an invoice that is due today isn't yet overdue, so it should still be in the "Current" column.

  14. Please put the customer's payments on the activity page so it is easier to see what payments went to which invoices. Seeing that an invoice is paid isn't enough information if the customer has questions. It would be nice to see WHICH payment is applied to an invoice.

  15. Please put a menu item under the Accounting Menu for Journal Entry. I don't like having to run a report just to go to manual journals or to add a new journal. Just put "New Journal" under the advanced sub menu under accounting. If you are concerned about the average bookkeeper making journal entries, allow the ability for the admin to dictate which menu items are shown for different users.

  16. We would like our auditors / account reviewers to have Read Only access to our accounts in Xero however this does not enable them to view Xero Files, which is where we save our bank statements, etc.

    Currently we need to give them Standard Access so that they can have access to the documents in Files, however this also gives them the ability to change the accounts as well.

    We would like to suggest the Xero files be added to users with Read Only access.

  17. Suggestion: enable the 'Columns' feature that is available in the customer activity list to more parts of Xero. I would like to be able to hide the 'Cost Price' column from Products & Services on the front-of-house system so it's not visible to customers when we are doing a price check.

  18. To allow default settings for individual invoice templates. For example rather than set a default due date or currency for ALL invoices, allow individual invoice templates to be set there own due date timeframes , ie 7 days or immediate payment terms and also the same for currency.

    The more standardised we can make our templates, the less likelihood of user error.

Currently after we assigned billable expenses to a customer and subsequently when we create a new invoice with the billable expenses, noted that the tracking category named Projects as well as account code are not auto-fill. We need to fill in manually which is time-consuming, imagine there are 100 items in the invoice.

    It will be very helpful and save time if the account and project code will be auto-fill in the invoice. We really appreciate your support and looking forward this can be implemented. Thank you!

  20. Allow Negative Discounts to provide a basic Tiered Pricing Solution

    There has been a huge amount of noise over the last 5+ years about Xero not supporting Tiered pricing. This can mean many things, but the most basic requirement is Customer Price Lists.

    It can be as simple as allowing negative discounts in the Contact Record...a negative discount would increase the price instead of discounting it.

    Every Item Currently has a default 'Sale Price'.
