  3. Not sure about other pensions, but when using NEST, Xero doesn't currently link up how you would like it to.
    Whether you pay staff monthly or weekly, you are bound to have a cut off date for calculating hours which is before the date you send payment to employees.
    The info that gets shared when filing the pension records is the "payment date". This physical date falls under the following pay period meaning when the info is transferred to NEST it comes up as the wrong period.

    (monthly pay) 24th Aug - 23rd Sep, with pay on 30th…

  4. When a folder is created in Files app, it appears on the left menu and the documents uploaded in the folder appears on the right side of the screen. When there is a long list of folders created, like I am doing with the client, the list goes below the screen and scrolling down option is only the main scroll of Xero that moves the list of folders and the document display screen together.   5. In Account Transactions reports, you should be able to add a column for "modified date". This would be extremely helpful when reconciling between information submitted to HMRC and the information in the nominal. I am no QuickBooks fan, but this is one feature that they have that Xero does not.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your votes on this idea. While we're always interested in integrating with more banks, the most effective way to get a new feed established is for customers to request it directly from their bank. The more that SumUp hears from its own customers that a Xero integration for bank feeds is needed, the more likely they are to work with us to build one.

    For now, you can manually import your SumUp transaction data into Xero using QIF, OFX, or CSV file types. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this in the Xero Central article below.

    This idea is open for voting and comments, and we'll continue to keep an eye on the interest for this idea here.

  7. I think it would be a good idea to facilitate the location of payroll reports. Please could you create a link to payroll journals within the payroll "journal reports".
    Secondly, it would very useful to be able to amend a payroll journal report, if needed.

    Thanks for sharing with us here, everyone. We appreciate there are many improvements our customers would like to see to improve their workflows for setting up invoice themes for their customers. We do have a product team that have been focused on improvements to simplify and enhance the look of branding applied to your invoices. Being upfront this doesn't stretch to adding invoice reminders at the branding theme level for the time being.

    We're continuing to watch and stay tuned to the ideas we have around this in our community and if there are any changes to share we'll post an update for you all, here.

  9. STP2 Allowances. Not reportable at W1 should push that information through with STP, but it doesn't. Using reimbursements as a work around is not good enough - better syncing is needed.

  10. On the taskbar, it would be useful to have a dropdown option to link through to the last few pages that you have accessed. Maybe the last 10 pages accessed would be good, a mixture of recent searches and recent transactions. I know QBO has this and I use it a lot for navigating.

    For example, when I run a P&L and drill down to a specific bill, sometimes I would make an amendment to said bill. When I save and go back it spits me out at the CoA when I want to return to the P&L. So instead…

    Hi team, appreciate the thoughtful feedback in your idea here and while not a complete solve for what's being asked I did want to highlight for this specific scenario you may find favouriting reports useful. This will make that report easily navigable from the Reporting menu in our new navigation 🙂

    Also, just another tool that might help to find items that have recently been edited - the History & Notes could be used and filtered to quickly see what transactions have been edited.

    While we don't have immediate plans for enabling these sort of breadcrumbs our teams are continuously thinking about the logic and flows as they keep developing Xero features.

  11. Option to data-sync Amazon, Ebay, Etsy etc accounts to allow VAT invoices to automatically assign to purchases. This would save so much time each quarter when preparing VAT.

    Hi Siobhan, I know it's been sometime since you started the idea here. We wanted to share that we’ve recently launched our Etsy integration in the Xero App Store.

    Right now, the integration focuses on helping sellers reconcile payouts, categorise income/expenses, and manage sales tax. We don’t currently have native solutions for Amazon or eBay, though we are exploring opportunities in this space.

  12. Right now there’s no functionality in Xero Projects to transfer or "reallocate" funds from one Project to another.

    As a charity, from time-to-time we need to reallocate funds from one project to another (for example if we have not received enough money to complete a particular project we reallocate the funds assigned to that project to a similar one to honor our donor's preferences).

    I have tried looking in Manual Journals but there is no option there either. The only option I can find is to locate each invoice or "receive money" and change the project allocation. This is tedious…

    Hi everyone, thank you for this great suggestion about making the status of bank feed applications visible to all users within a Xero organisation.

    We understand that when one team member submits a bank feed form, the lack of visibility can lead to confusion or duplicate work for others.

    We encourage you and other members to vote, and add comments below sharing how having a shared status like "bank feed form uploaded and being processed" would improve your team's workflow.

    While we don't currently have plans to build this functionality, we'll be keeping a close eye on the support for this idea here and will keep you informed of any updates.

  16. Please enable the Microsoft Word function SKIPIF for use in docx invoice templates. Currently, we can use the "IF" function in customized invoices to skip item records according to its ItemCode, but as noted by another user in the Microsoft Office discussion, a blank row will still appear for records that meet the filter test. The functionality to allow for intercompany reporting when the currencies are different between the organisations - for this we would need to be able to create an asset/liability account in a currency other than the local currency. This would eliminate any Foreign exchange gains/losses on intercompany balances.

  19. Currently you can itemise NANE income on the P&L, however when doing annual accounts this NANE is not tranferred to the balance sheet. This shows an incorrect current year earnings.

  20. I have employees with bank account numbers that include a letter. Xero won't accept this as valid. The bank won't accept it as a valid account without it.

    This means that I can't have the correct bank details in an employee's information, nor can I create a .aba file with the correct details for that employee, nor can I create a bill payment for a reimbursement for that employee, nor can I pay any bill for any other entity in the same position.

    I would like to be able to pay these people the same as I do everyone else.
