  1. Customer/recipient view of invoices on mobile should display price/quantity/VAT.

    Majority of our customers review their invoices on mobile browser. We use zero-quantity line items to include extra information/detail in our invoices, but the new format cuts out price/quantity/VAT when viewing an invoice on mobile, so these lines appear blank/empty.

    Other invoices, where customers want to review the price and quantity on their invoice, not just the line total, are similarly inaccessible.

  2. I think the idea of Xero Projects is great. However, it requires a lot of hand-holding and reentering information to go through a project life cycle.

    Here are my top 10 improvements I think would make a FAR smoother experience.

    1. Pull through items quoted into the project as tasks once 'started'. This should be a bare minimum. At the moment tasks have to be manually added to any project.

    2. Push the project title into the reference tag so it displays in the Xero invoice list (otherwise there is no high-level description of what the job is for an invoice). Or…

    That's a few points you've listed, Nicholas. Sorry it's taken a while to respond to you here, and do appreciate the feedback.

    It's best for each point you've raised to be recorded as separate ideas so the community know what they're voting for, we can get a clear sense of interest in what customers are wanting to see, and we can keep you updated if a particular idea progresses.

    We have a few ideas that have been started and appear to relate to things you'd like to see too, I've adjusted the title of your idea here to represent your point on adding the project title to the Quote reference but for the others I'd recommend starting new ideas for each of these so we can start to track the interest from the community.

  3. As a charity funded entirely by donation we receive the majority of funds via online bank receipts. Because the bank receipt is standard, I currently manually create a receipt for our donors in word which I can attach to the bank receipt transaction and email to the donor. This is very time-consuming and I think it would be a very easy fix to allow customisation as with invoices

  6. I have noticed that when you are preparing to send an invoice via email in Xero that you can now add new addresses in the TO, CC and BCC lines. This is great.

    However, I have noticed that ALL contacts are available to add here. It would be safer to only allow the contact email addresses associated with the contact name on the invoice. It is too easy to add the wrong address and potentially send invoice information to the wrong client.

    If other people needed to do this, perhaps a tick box could be applied to allow ALL CONTACTS…

  8. The Classic version of Invoicing used to inform you on the view of an invoice that was created from a Repeating Invoice when the Repeating Template had been deleted.
    The new version does not give you this information resulting in confusion and wasted time.
    Please see screen shots below.
    This is causing us a major headache as we have lots of Repeating Invoices that have to be cancelled and if a user isn't sure new invoicing doesn't help but allows you to go through the process of trying to delete the template again which results in an error.

    Hi Chris, we appreciate you raising this message with us. It's something our team have added to their backlog but want to be open that we don't have active plans for changing for the time being. We'll continue to monitor the feedback here and I'll share if there is any progress.

  9. Being able to see a map with the location pins for each customer and sort them by the various Xero groups, would be invaluable. This would enable us to easily visualise our national/global coverage to help better understand regional product usage. As a business that provides products to public locations, it would also be an efficient way to reference existing installations near to new enquiries for them to reference.

  11. When using find and recode it would be helpful to show the grand total of the line total column at the bottom. This way you know if the isolated transactions in your Excel worksheet matches with all the conditional filtered transactions in find and recode.

  12. Name of user in account transaction list - Would it be possible that the username of the person who edited or created a specific transaction be visible when downloading the account transaction? This is to make it easier to track who updated the information.

  13. Can the data be access in a read-only mode for cancelled subscriptions?
    Often historic data has to be referred to but once a subscription is cancelled, you are no longer able to view any of the data.
    To differentiate between active and cancelled subscriptions the company can be marked in red.

  14. Our business is growing, and now we employ over 60 employees. Is it possible to have more than 50 employees listed on one page for payroll processing?
    It looks like '50' is the maximum of line items in the drop-down menue, and I have to go the the second page in order to approve all employees for the payroll.

  15. New Invoicing - Show ABN details with Client details in the "To" section of the invoice. All other information is there for reference, excluding the ABN.
    To view the ABN details, you need to leave the invoice screen and go to Contacts.

  17. When creating a new Bill, and after uploading the invoice then viewing the attached invoice, the attached invoice displays on top of the bill entry form. This is very frustrating.

    Please change to display the attached invoice to the left of the form, same as is the case when opening a draft Bill that was created by emailing Xero.

  18. When reviewing a payment for an invoice, you need to click 3 times to review the transaction details..going into 4 screens, as it's on a separate screen (1-invoice 2-payment 3-transaction 4-transaction details). It would be more efficient to have the transaction details screen build into the same screen as the transaction screen. I don't see a need for a 4th screen, especially when you have click to go back to the previous screens when investigating multiple payments.

    Hi Chris, the options for Sales and Purchases are the same in Contact defaults. You'll find there is a 'of the following month' option.

    When you say end of the following month would this be to be able to set the bill due date to change based on the # of days in the month?

  20. Recent changes have gutted our ability to operate under two distinct business names (Branding) under the same Xero account. Our Xero organization name and address is now included by default (and without the option to hide it) on Invoice emails and on Payment acceptance links. This was previously not the case.

    This completely breaks branding for us, and I'm not quite sure why this change was made. What is the point of having branding at all of we can't control what organization details are provided to the customer? Support suggested I open another Xero account. That's not an option -…
