  1. Dear Sir/ Madam,

    Would it be possible to add an icone with user set up action on the top right corner of the invoice page?
    I would like to have a one click button to copy existing invoice to the same client.
    At the moment I need to click invoice option/ copy to/ and copy to do this.

  2. The new (as of July 2023) FedNow system is going to allow bill/account/request payments at a nominal fee in the United States. Are there any plans by Xero to add native support for this network?

    Thanks for your feedback, Andrew and apologies it's taken a little to round back to you here. I see what you're saying and how a merge field would enable an optional for those that do v's don't want this shown 🙂

    Being open we don't have any plans atm, so perhaps static text could help with things for now, however we'll get a feel of the interest here and let you know if there's any change planned.

  4. The option to select up to four specific dates per year to generate invoices. The every 3 month option doesn't allow for office closure periods during holiday breaks and at least one of every 4 invoices per year is at an inopportune time.

  5. It still seems absolutely staggering that you can't add a column to the payable invoice summary report showing to which customer each invoice has been billed.

    It would then be very easy to scan down and see if any invoices which should have been billed out haven't been.

    Missing assigning an invoice to a customer is a major area of financial risk and it's so easy to do on Xero and no way to easily check.

    Many people are unhappy about this and surely the big concerns and risk areas should be a priority? A business could easily lose tens…

  6. Invoices that are automatically deducted from your bank account will be shown as awaiting payment as long as they are not paid, but should be clearly distinguishable from invoices that you still need to pay, i.e. take action on. This way you have an accurate overview of your account balance, expected payments, and actions you need to take.

  8. It would be nicer if the Tabs were Named "My Business" "Advisor" "Standard" "Draft" "Published" and "Archived" in that order so the default Tab would be custom reports for this business. Many users never look past the "Home" tab, and never see the custom Reports.

  10. What I want to show in the batch payment summary is the transaction date.
    For example, I used my personal money to buy sth on 1st June & 10th June. Then I submit "expense claims" on these two days. And when accountant batch the payment for my claims, I want to show the transaction date (1st June & 10th June) on the batch PDF, just as shown in my attached image.

  11. Would like to see a next page arrow in the purchase orders like in files when you can move to the next file OR Purchase order really easy and see the whole thing without having to open new tabs the whole time to view the next one.

  12. Default invoice due date / contact due date can be set when integrated with other products that fed the invoices in. Currently it is overriden with due date from integrated system

    Setting due date so we can clearly see what is overdue is an excellent feature and would help significantly with accounts

  13. It would be really useful that when you are selecting to add a new Group under Row's that it adds the new group option in the location you are currently at, rather than adding it in at the top of the report and having to move it down to where you want it to go.

    Also having the ability with the when adding a new formula to be able to select how you want the formula result to appear (ie %, $, rounded $ to the nearest $ etc).

  14. It would be great if the mobile app allowed me to take a new photo of a receipt into folders faster - maybe you could improve the "Work offline" functionality so that it does more in the background.

    I need to use this method, instead of emailing receipts, because we have various folders (1 for each debit & credit card) where we put the specific receipt photograph into

  15. FILTERS have to be reset each time you return to a page. This is common throughout Xero and is a real nuisance, but especially if you are editing sales invoices. E.g. filtering on a group of customers and a date range has to be done to edit each invoice individually. Resetting the filter for each invoice you edit is a real pain.

  17. Can you get the new TB to download with the account code and description in the same column as was possible in the old TB. (see attached)
    It's a great column to upload into tax software as a description, instead of having to mess about with 2 separate code and description columns.

  18. Another product idea to suggest is to have Account transactions report account code GST control account to also show the related account
    For example invoice number and invoice amount on how the tax amount derives from.

    1. Purchase orders reset to 'include GST' ever time you start a new PO. Why does it not just remember the last setting like invoicing does. (Or an option to lock it to a setting)

    2. Ability to add more information to invoices like customers phone number or email. It's an option. Saves warehouse staff or anyone having to look up the information. (At this time I use the country for the phone number and contact for the email)

  19. can you please increase the capacity for downloading general ledgers because at the moment it seems very limited. Often we have to send large files and the capacity at the moment is insufficient
