  1. It would be extremely helpful to be able to assign a range of default settings to either individual contacts, or to contact groups, such as:
    - invoice template
    - billing cycle (((would also be great to get variable billing cycles as a feature!))
    - currency

    we have a fair amount of customer hierarchy, which we've been able to somewhat address with contact groups.. but the fundamental lack of configurable options after the group is designated feels hugely wasted.

  2. Be able to setup the ATO integrated Client Account as a Bank Account and receive a direct feed fro the ATO (or relevant Tax Authority) for transactions including Penalties and General Interest Charges.

  3. Create ABA file for non bank account, eg Credit Cards.
    With an increate of payment options and portals offering payments through credit card, it could be reasonable to have an aba file created for other form of payment. Thanks

  4. Currently the "Total Cash In and Out graph" on dashboard shows the total cash received and the total cash spent through all of the bank accounts in Xero. This graph excludes transfers between bank accounts as don't they affect the overall total.

    It would be nice to be able to customize that graph to exclude certain transactions. Ie. if a shareholder loan is made, this would show up as cash in.

  5. We need an approval process which includes multiple approvers who do not necessarily access Xero so a share as with an invoice would be ideal to request approval via email

  6. Please provide a report by Customer for Profit and Loss and allow us to upload a budget for each customer so we can include the forecast in XERO. QBO has much better and flexible reporting than XERO. Please see attached QBO Report of P&L by Customer. Please mimic this report in XERO.

  7. Be able to add a message for each individual employee to tell them what their premium is for their medical insurance benefit.

    The premium for each employee is different, so can't use the payslip message on a payroll run. Adding individual data to a person's payslip each month is too labour intensive.

    Maybe some type of pay item without affecting their pay/tax/NI etc. It could then be added to their pay template so it appears every month.

  8. In the Director's Declaration, it would be great if the report could recognise if there is a single Director or multiple, and then update the wording accordingly. (eg "The Directors have determined" or "The Director has determined".)

  10. Ability to completely remove from the My Xero homepage cancelled Xero organisations. Currently, you can list no fewer than 10 items per page, so if you have say 4 active organisations and 6 cancelled organisations, you are 'forced' to look at the list of cancelled organisations every time you log in, even if the entities have long been deregistered and there is no chance that you will resubscribe to them.

  12. Employee - Merge Function

    I cannot believe that there is no merge function for duplicated employees. Most payroll systems have this function. The error occurred between integration with time and attendance software and Xero.

  16. In Xero Project it would be useful to create sub teams within the staff. For example, we have different office locations and would like to filter our reports, or view projects by those office locations.

  18. Invoice setting: There should be the ability to remove the Item Name from the Item column when creating or editing invoices.

  19. The only way of moving (using the keyboard) within an invoice or a bill table at the current moment is by using the enter or tab key. These two keys allow you to move horizontally.

    Many times I found myself wanting to move vertically instead! Could we have one key that will do just that?

    A similar feature is already present in 'cash coding' and makes the experience of reconciling way smoother. What about invoicing and bills?
