  1. Could the Accounts Watchlist feature have an option to have user specific watchlists? The accounts I want to pay close attention to as Head of Finance is different to what the Finance Assistant wants to see. Not all accounts are organisation wide specific.

  2. Please reconsider integrating Venmo, the paypal “hack” isn’t working for me! I’m sure a lot of users rely on Venmo as a form of payment, this would be really useful! Thanks for considering!

  5. Within Files folder, to sort by drag and drop please? These are remittance advice for Gift Aid payments from HMRC and therefore not attached to any invoices BUT can get uploaded in the wrong order which is confusing for the auditor. Currently the only option is to download the whole contents, sort and reload.
    Also could it be made possible please to have subfolders so that we can easily divide eg monthly investment reports by financial year without having a long list of separate folders in the main index?

When you submit a transaction via the Expense Claims function, it will duplicate the Contact Name and add that into the front of the description, so when you run an Account Transactions report, it then shows the Contact Name twice (because all transactions automatically have the Contact Name added in at the start of the description already) but then the Expense Claims feature does it again, so your transaction report line item will show as "Supplier Name - Supplier Name - Description of transaction" instead of just "Supplier Name - Description of transaction".

    Can Xero remove the duplication here?

  8. As part of our QA, we review the list of users to check that it is up to date, eg, remove terminated employees, remove auditors at the completion of the audit or revert to Read Only, etc.

    It would be great to be able to filter/sort the view by access type, such as looking only at Payroll Employees, or filtering them out.

  9. Whilst being able to set-up a payment run directly within Xero is great and saves time, it can be tedious and difficult when trying to reconcile it on the bank.

    There are two things Xero should add:

    There is seemingly no way in the bills screen to review previous payment runs. Something that at least would make it easier to check back at what was included in that payment.

    It should also put all payments from one payment run as one batch payment in the bank rec screen. Otherwise no time at all is saved in reconciliation as you still…

  12. I would like to see the ability to type the tracking category into the field in the new invoicing, be available again rather than a drop down menu that its not user friendly or time saving. The drop down often jumps to the incorrect tracking category, even after the correct one is selected.

  13. In the olden days when you paid an individual bill the system would take you back the awaiting payments screen with two options - view bill or send remittance. Can we please have this back. More recently when paying a single bill you would have around 5 seconds to click on send remittance - that is now gone. Annoyingly you have to change a number of screens to locate the paid bill and then click on the payment and remit from there. Very inefficient. Please revert to the old options.

  14. Some smb's and charities have individual credit cards for staff without going through one credit card account. It would be great when the bank makes a payment to clear each of the credit cards that the transfer can be divided up between all the respective credit cards.

  15. When an employee onboards and doesn't have a Tax File Number (TFN) either because they are new to Australia and have just applied for one or they are under 18 and exempt. Xero should have a feature that warns you when they either turn 18 or they have passed the 28 days allowed to work without a TFN and it should automatically change their tax declaration to no TFN provided and change the tax withheld rate, until a TFN is provided.   18. Many of our Customer and Suppliers now insist we use their portal to submit queries statements remittance advices etc.
    It would be useful for there to be a portal element like the E mail contacts in the Contact record. If this could be visible and actionable from the header it would be nice so we can click it and go straight to their portal from the contact.

  20. Record deposits on a quote or future invoice sale without raising the invoice value against a customer.

    We manufacture a product and then install for a customer - with a deposit of either 50/50% or 30/30/30/10% at the point of approved sale. We are happy to create an invoice number but with a deposit on each sale this creates a "negative balance" and we do not want to create a sale until the final invoice has been agreed at installation. ie. a negative receivable.
