UK Payroll - Ability to have national minimum wage checker

Xero checks employees age against pay rate and that of the National Minumum Wage so it does not get missed. It's doesn't have to change it, just highlight thsat the employee's rate needs to ber changed

    its Critical to have a NLW checker on Xero payroll, but at least a report to show employees Date of Births would be helpful in the mean time.

    Quickbooks, Sage, Brightpay have this function as well as a NI category notification change.

    As a payroll agent, I have 90 clients and over 750+ employees to check each month

    I cannot believe you do not provide a report with employee name and date of birth as an absolute minimum in order to manually make these checks

    This is long overdue, other systems had them in place a long time ago.

    As much as we appreciate a new bank reocn layout and stuff like that, we really need this NMW checker.

    They have the time to do a new bill layout which is awful and not needed but cant implement fundamentals which we all want and need! I have to check 50 employees dates of birth each month to check on NI categories and minimum wage changes which the system could flag for me very easily based on the DOB

    Xero is not interested in anything we suggest. They rather keep messing up the reports and general information entry then improves and implement legal requirements

    I can’t believe this is not already in place if I’m honest. Sage Payroll manages to signal any pay rate deficiencies or NI category error so why can’t Xero?!
    This brings me nicely onto the next automatic check if possible. Check when someone on a "M" NI code reaches 21 or someone on “A” reaches State Pension Age.
    A reminder / warning message would be better than nothing and would reduce the chance of errors. Xero has the date of birth on record so what’s the issue?!

    Would be good to also include a check for employees over retirement age, currently 66 - affects pension & National Insurance
