Petition for Xero Executives Regarding Alleged "Improvements"
Petition for Xero Executives Regarding Alleged "Improvements"
I encourage Xero Subscribers and other customers to start commenting and upvoting so we can show the Executives that these "improvements" are NOT improvements!
So, if you have had problems with any of the alleged improvements, some I have listed below, they include any sub issues associated with the changes.
Please add only "I agree" in comments. This will help our overall numbers into a louder and bigger voice.
- New Bills View
- New Contacts View
- New Invoice View
- Retiring of classic invoice layout
- Xero Support Staff Gaslighting you
Unfortunately, there are so many ideas and comments that I cant list them all, but there is slightly different wording and multiple threads, that Xero staff either close or merge, and muddy the issue actually diluting the bigger problem, that customers are not being consulted, nor are we being heard.
Stop treating us like "users" - we are your customers.

Hi community, I’d like to share the new Xero Central page for new invoicing that we noted was coming.
Along with updates to individual ideas on the site here, this page will become the one source for key feature rollouts including:
- what’s available in new invoicing right now,
- timelines for features and enhancements going live in new invoicing, as well as
- a comparison table between the classic and newer versions of invoicing.
We'll be updating this page regularly.
Remember, you can keep switching between the two products between now and September. Thanks

I've noticed another issue: the P&L Reports fail to display Year-to-Date totals correctly when the financial year ends on February 29th.
When generating the report for "this financial year," it omits the YTD figures.
To address this, users must manually adjust the financial year end date to February 29th in the settings.
However, this workaround introduces a risk of human error.
I urge Xero to address and rectify this issue promptly.

There's a longstanding request from users for an additional feature.
This feature entails the capability to designate default email addresses for sending statements, invoices, and quotes separately.
Certain suppliers or customers may necessitate sending statements to one department while directing quotes and invoices to another.
It would greatly enhance user experience if Xero incorporated the functionality to select default email addresses for each type of document.
This way, users won't need to manually adjust the email address each time they send out emails.

Wish Xero would listen to their own sales teams. The accountants. -

Google Search - How many accounting firms use Xero?
200,000+
Join 200,000+ accountants and bookkeepers using Xero in their practice.Maybe we need all 200,000 plus to support this and vote to reject the changes then maybe Xero will listen.

Agreed to this and all of the other comments. Xero needs to start doing productive additions. Not superficial additions.

I agree. New Reports and new Supplier Payments replacing Pay with Wise as well. Both awful.

Agree..... So many ideas that have been ignored for years. As a minimum if it can't be implemented the least Xero could do is let users know so that they can make a dcision to either manage without OR move to a software that can. The lack of communication is very frustrating and very poor service.

100% agree.
Stop "fixing" things that aren't broken and start fixing things your users have requested for years.
