AU Payroll - Option to allocate employee salary across different departments
Hi Team, Im not sure if this has been raised, but can we get the ability when setting up an employee to be able to allocate a % of their salary costs between different department / cost centres. At this stage we do not have the option of splitting salary costs without having to do manual journals

We have run into the same issues. Processing a Payrun through ABA and Xero not then being capable of reading the ABA data from the pay run to allocate the individual wages to a project cost. Xero Support say its for anonymity - there is a huge need clearly for years to seperate the individual transaction value to Head office, admin costs, or project cost. It makes zero sense as Xero is creating this ABA Data and subsequently the journal data in the first place. Why wouldn't it be a priority to close the circle correctly and have the details for the payment listed within the journal entry -

This is where Xero is Backward, Now that they do not Own a job app how about being able to allocate wages and Bills to jobs, and to be able to seperate different emplyees to a catagory for Workcover declarations
