Notification - Reminder to employee to enter Timesheets

An option within the employee page, once selected, to send app notification reminders that timesheets are due by specific date/time.

Hey folks, thanks for the idea and support here. We appreciate all the valuable feedback and ideas shared regarding timesheet reminders ⏰
We understand that the ability to easily remind employees to fill out timesheets would make things easier and save you time.
Our product team is currently investigating potential solutions for this but at this early stage there are no specific time frames available. We’ll be sure to let you know if there’s any change, though!

    This is a really basic and essential feature to add. I dont know why its not already in built! It would reduce time wasted chasing up staff who havent submitted their timesheets in time for the pay run to occur. Ideally the system would only send reminders / push notifications / email when an employee has not yet submitted their timesheets by the end of their allocated payrun period.

    Would love to have an option to set up reminders as a pop up in the Xero Me App for employees to submit their timesheets by a certain day & time.
    Also to be able to send them a message or note via the app so it can be direct, rather than having to email them which is sometimes to a personal email (which they don't check in work hours).

    This would save so much time rather than having to manually check who has not completed and then chase. Ideally it would only send reminders to people who have not completed XX number of hours weekly / monthly

    Any update on this feature? Would save the hassel of sending manual reminders and chances of someone missing deadlines.

    can we get an update on this Hannah, it seems like it shouldn't be to hard considering you can push invites to the linked emails etc

    This would be a fantastic feature and couldn't imagine it would take much to add onto the current app

    This is a no brainer. Please consider adding this asap. Currently we require use of a third party application to remind staff to complete a task in your app.
    Not a good system.

    Absolutely agree, this is a critical matter for us. Our suggestion being a reminder when you go to log out of Xero, to ensure you have completed your timesheet.

    We have issues with staff not completing time sheets either at all, on time or with great detail. We are a small organisation and do not want to make this a big issue, so having a reminder when people log out of xero to complete their timesheet would be beneficial. e.g. Have you completed your time sheet? Is this something else other people struggle with?

    I don’t know why this wouldn’t already be on option? It’s 2024 and Ai exists… a notification reminder feature seems like one of the first most simple features that should have had in the first place really. Beneficial for all using and good for Xero aswell

    This is a no-brainer. I'm spending more time reminding people to submit their timesheets and holidays than actually performing the pay-run.
    Please provide this function!
