Custome Widget for PAYG & BAS Linked to nominated Bank Account

As a small business owner we set aside PAYG and BAS weekly. it would be incredibly useful to have a custom dashboard widget linked to a nominated bank account.

This widget would:

• Display the total PAYG and BAS currently owing (pulled directly from Xero’s BAS/PAYG data).
• Show the current balance in our dedicated BAS holding account.
• Highlight the difference between the two amounts so we can see at a glance whether we are ahead or behind in setting aside tax funds.

This would save time, improve cash flow visibility, and remove the need to manually compare reports with bank balances each week.

GST - Keep GST in the "Account watch list" at the previous month until after the previous month is reconciled. I transfer my monthly GST into another Bank account at the end of each month so it is available when the BAS is due. It would be helpful it the monthly GST in the "Account watch list" didn't roll over to 0 on the 1st of the month but stayed until all accounts were reconciled and we could see what the GST payable amount was for the previous month. I think this would be a great feature to any small business.

BAS due dates should appear on the Dashboard.

We use the Account Watchlist for this - we set up all our clients with PAYG Payable, Superannuation Payable, and Wages Payable in the Watchlist as a minimum. The GST account can easily be added to the Watchlist for monitoring. It's also a quick way to check if these critical bills have been paid yet.
