  1. Currently in Payroll History you can filter activity by Type and select 'Employees'.

    This is too broad to be able to easily pick up bank account changes. eg for 1 month there are 959 entries over 4 pages (which need to be manually clicked to load).

    The entries have the type of 'Employee: Bank Accounts'

    Features requested ;
    1) Add a 'Subtype' filter for Employee events; of which 'Bank Accounts' should be an option.
    2) Add ability to Export the report to PDF from initial screen without having to load all the other items.

  2. We have multiple sites within our payroll company. Each site is in a different physical location. We have set each location up as a "Group" Each employee is set to a group. This way, we can sort and report on each location within our payroll entity.
    However, we need the payslip to show the address of the location, rather than the address which is showing in the organisation settings. I understand that we can set up a different physical address, but is it possible to have a separate address for each group or location within this organisation?

  3. Re Payroll/Timesheets/RDO's. Can you please allow employees to enter a negative No of hours in Xero Me to category RDO accrual to get their hours back to the usual eg. 76 in a fortnight. Currently cannot submit.
    Staff working 40 hours to obtain hours RDO is problematic. I don't agree with Xero's instruction to change opening balance accrual figures. Must be able to be audited.

    Please change the break hours to be able to be 1. entered online and not just via Xero Me 2. within 1 entry. Currently staff have to enter 2 lines each day.

  4. Changing an employee's surname due to marriage, for example, changes their details for historical payslips and all other payroll historical reports. Could a field be added perhaps that allows for 'maiden name' or 'previously known as' without disrupting historical info?

  5. Have the ability to set the relevant Award Rates and applicable grade so the pay rates gets automatically updated each year when the award rate changes, rather than having to manually make the changes.

  6. For the payroll drop tap it would be good if we could have notification numbers next to say leave request and timesheets. Like the notifications of expenses.
    This helps to keep track on all leave submissions and what's approved.

    Hi community, appreciate your sharing in community here. Atm if you're wanting to change the payment date for an unscheduled pay run, you can edit the payment date while the pay run is in draft status. We don't have any plans for automating this.

  8. Ability to set a future date for when payslips are to be sent/be available to employees as payroll can be completed early sometimes (ie public holidays etc)

  9. Ability to switch between payroll calendars for an employee with multiple roles eg Jane is on the weekly payroll for her role as studio manager. She is also paid monthly super only for her roles as a sub-contractor yoga teacher.

    So far we have managed this by posting Jane's weekly pay, and then switching the payroll calender to process the super and then switching it back again. The problem is that if Jane is already in a draft weekly payrun the calendar can't be switched until the draft payrun is processed. This makes the process fiddly.

  12. Automatically accrue RDO hours after a certain amount of hours logged.

    Job management systems push 80 hours over as a timesheet in Xero.

    We would like the total combined hours logged (ordinary hours, annual leave, RDOs, personal leave and public holidays) in excess of 76 hours to automatically be converted to RDO hours.

    E.g: If I log 80 hours ordinary time, I accrue 4 hours RDO.
    E.g: If I log 78 hours ordinary time, I accrue 2 hours RDO.
    E.g: If I log 80 hours annual leave, I accrue 4 hours RDO.
    E.g: If I log 72 hours…

  14. It would be great for those Approving Leave, to also be able to View the Leave Calendar that is currently available to Payroll Admin users in the Overview Window. Those approving leave need to know who else is on leave for the requested period, which we currently replicate in our Email Calendars, however it would be great to take this step out, it will reduce time and eliminate errors.

  15. Update the monthly payroll to calculate based on the number of work hours in the month, rather than taking the yearly salary / 12 / number work hours. Given that each month has a different number of work days, the pay rate changes every month and this is a compliance issue.

  16. Would really like the option to have a second layer to approve leave. I am a HR Manager and find it hard when the manager approves leave verbally and I do not get notified until later. I would like to see the option for HR or Finance to get a notification or get the option to approve prior to the manager so we can manage the employee leave status.

  18. The week ending period on the Timesheet Detail Report is Monday to Friday and cannot be adjusted.

    Oaur pay week runs from Wednesday to Tuesday. We have to duplicate data on an Excel spreadsheet for reporting for management.

    It would be very useful if the week ending period could be edited so we could use the reporting in Xero and save time processing payroll.

  19. Our business is growing, and now we employ over 60 employees. Is it possible to have more than 50 employees listed on one page for payroll processing?
    It looks like '50' is the maximum of line items in the drop-down menue, and I have to go the the second page in order to approve all employees for the payroll.
