  3. Xero should reduce Ordinary hours below nil when leave requests are input for the current/previous weeks if the total leave exceeds normal ordinary hours. Eg FT employee 38hrpw is off all current week on leave in addition to 7.6hrs for a day last week not previously processed. Currently, in this situation Xero will not reduce Ordinary hours below Nil and would pay the employee 45.6hours as leave. A manual adjustment is needed to reduce Ordinary hours to minus 7.6hrs to correctly pay the employee.

    Hi Angeline, currently once you 'Make a payment' for a batch payment you'll be taken to the payment transaction so you could decide whether to send remittance or export the file for up;load to your bank. 

    While not a complete resolve for your idea here, you may find the ability to set a default page for your new bills experience useful so when you select 'Bills to pay' from the Business menu you're automatically taken to your Awaiting payment tab?

  7. In Xero HQ when we create a New Template for Reports and add reports according to our preference, We are unable to add reports like Top Suppliers and Top customers report in Xero HQ but those reports are available in individual client's organizations.

    It would be great if we can add these reports in Xero HQ so it would be easy to generate month end reports from Xero HQ for all the clients.

  9. I would like long service leave to accrue and update the balance each payrun like annual leave does, i.e. leave available to take in advance. rather than waiting for the accrued LSL to be applied on the anniversary date.

  10. In Australia one of the criteria to classify as a "small buisiness" is to have 15 or less employees.

    Could this also be reflected in Xero's pricing which jumps from 10 employees on payroll to 20.

    It would be nice to have a meet half way mark with a fair price for 15 employess.

  11. I have multiple clients for whom I perform varying tasks. I log in and work on their accounts with my practice email.

    When sending invoices on clients' behalf, or paying bills to clients' suppliers, the copy invoice or remittance advice goes to my practice email as I am the logged in user. The person/company who needs this copy is my client (whose email is the 'reply to').

  17. I would like to have the ability to create a bill with a negative balance. This way, I can control the full credit to the exact sales tax account. The current way a Credit is applied to a batch bill it takes a percentage off each line item (total due and sales tax). I have to remit tax in multiple states, and the way credits are handled throws off my totals to remit. Right now, I edit existing bills and apply credits within the bill for a workaround.   18. As a retail company with many hundreds of transactions each day it is a massive task to properly account for VAT. All our products are VATable inside the UK but we receive many orders from outside the UK which are non-VATable, or from other EU countries where we must charge a different VAT rate for our IOSS return.

    PayPal holds details of the VAT that was collected as part of the transaction, but as Xero imports all these hundreds of transactions from PayPal it currently does not import those VAT details. That means we have to look at our other…

  19. Recent changes to the report layouts when comparing categories means that categories without data no-longer show. It would be great for the user to have the ability to choose whether to include/exclude.
    This is particularly relevant when reporting is exported to Excel for customised reports that cannot be developed within Xero. The exported data out of Xero needs to have same column headings so that lookups in Excel continue to work.
    The recent change has meant that reports we have already developed within Excel that rely on Xero data no-longer work. And is time consuming to add back in columns…

    Appreciate the feedback, Julie. This has generally been to help keep the report clean.

    There aren't any direct plans for adding non used categories back into view but it'd be good to be able to share if there are any specific reports you're commonly using that you'd find this view useful in.

  20. When Bank or Superannuation details are changed for an employee, Xero sends an alert to the Admin/Account owner of the account. The employee details who have changed should also be sent an email alert.
