New Invoicing | Send - Copy & paste formatting
When pasting content from a Word document that has bullet points and other basic formatting, this formatting is lost and you end up with one large block of unformatted text.
All our invoices have terms and conditions pasted in depending on the application of our products. We have to switch to Classic Invoicing where the formatting functionality still works, before sending the email to the customer, .
Please resolve this urgently before phasing out Classic Invoicing.
An example image is attached with a short portion of our terms and conditions to show the non-existent formatting.

NZ Payroll - Separate "Post" and "Submit to IRD" actions
Currently, when you connect your Xero login to myIR, Xero automatically files the pay run with the IRD as soon as it is posted. Unfortunately, there is no option to opt out of this automatic filing without disconnecting from myIR entirely.
It would be much more flexible if posting and filing could be done as separate steps. While it's possible to have another user who isn't connected to myIR handle this, small businesses often rely on a single person to manage the entire payroll process.
We would prefer to post the pay run, send payslips, complete banking, and then submit to the IRD as the final step. It would be ideal if Xero could introduce two separate icons—one for "Post" and another for "Submit to IRD"—to give users more control over the process.

Supplier Credit Notes - Search feature when applying credits
Being able to search for original bill to apply credit against rather than scroll through whole list of open bills. This will save a lot of time & errors.

Contact Details - Provide expanded view when selecting contact details for invoicing
When selecting a contact name it would be nice if it displayed more of the name or if dropdown could be widened. Reason being, we have a number of clients whose names appear the same but have different regional offices and it therefore becomes trial & error as to which one to select as we cannot see the full details until after selection of the contact.

Contacts - Restore deleted files / Prompt to confirm when removing
Move the Delete button away from preview in files attached to contacts.
So many times, I have accidently deleted files attached to contacts. The delete button is right next to the preview. There is no way to restore once deleted..9 votes -
AU Payroll - Paid break times
Ability to enter a PAID Break - This would be particularly helpful in Contruction industry, where most awards provide employees with a paid tea break on OT & Weekend work. This would mean employers will meet their obligations for Start/Finish Times as well as break times.

Projects | Task Description to be used on Tasks & Expenses Invoice
In Projects - the tasks we add 'time entries' to and then invoice are set up in "Products and Services" screen. We would like the description entered in the "Products and Services" screen to flow through to the invoice when a "Tasks and expenses" invoice is raised. Currently only the Task Name goes into the Description box on the invoice but this is not adequate to send to the client. Typing over the top of the description is a waste of time and we do not want the time entry description to flow through as this is often too brief or in shorthand.

AU Payroll - Notify of invalid email addresses
Where payslips are emailed to an email address that is invalid and returns a kick back message.
Xero to forward kick back message or advise Payroll ID that sent emails out of a problem for an employee's email so that invalid email can be investigated and amended.We also use Xero Me for employees however not everyone sets this up on receipt of invite and just prefer to receive email advices.

Invoicing: Set invoice reminders by invoice branding template
Ability to turn off invoice reminders based on the invoice branding template.
This would mean we can prevent invoice reminders being sent to customers who have payments scheduled via direct debit.

Profit & Loss Report - compare tracking categories
Thanks for adding the new "compare tracking categories" in the new Profit & Loss Report.
However, even with this additional development the new version of Profit & Loss Report requires you to manually add each tracking category one by one. Having the feature of "select all" reinstated as the old version did would be really helpful.
Having limited tracking categories to 200 isn’t helpful, previously Xero was able to search across an unlimited number of tracking categories, but only report on the active ones.
I’m sure there are many users that have more than 200 tracking categories (not always active but not suitable to archive). Having to manually select each tracking category isn’t an efficient use of time.
Please review this development and align the new version Profit & Loss to the old version functionality.

New Invoicing - Set contact when copying Purchase Order to invoice
I often copy from a Purchase order to an Invoice, with the new Invoicing set up, it automatically populates the customer field with the Supplier name, can this PLEASE be changed to same as classic with a blank field so we can enter the custmer details in ourselves, it is most annoying and has often caught our office out sending invoices to suppliers.

Adding more banks in Singapore for the bank feed in Xero.
Example, adding Anext Bank into Xero. Will benefit small businesses who are using digital bank like Anext Bank.

Quotes - Ability to archive quotes
I am trying to archive legacy quotes - I have followed your instructions but when I highlight the selected quotes, there is no option button for archive?
We want our quotes section to a more true reflection of the current business activity but at the same time do not want to have to delete legacy quotes. There is a need to archive similar to Inventory feature.

There is a good calendar in payroll that I would like to add to my dashboard so I can keep up to date with daily requirements and also see availability of staff including when they will be on leave from my dashboard

Export bank account with Customer Account number
I want to export my reconciled bank transactions and include the account number of the Customer. I can then use this file to link with other systems. At present I have to add the Account number via Excel VLookup function which is tedious.
When setting up, I made the mistake of not including the account number is my Customer name field. Wish I had now but there is no way of doing a bulk update ofgf that field.1 vote -
Improving "Who Posted" Visibility in hubdoc
The current implementation of "Who posted" information appears below the image in small text, which is easy to miss. We believe it would be more effective and user-friendly to display this information prominently at the top of the scan in larger text.

QR Code recognition of scanned receipts and invoices in Hubdoc
For scanned receipts containing a QR code, it would be very useful if the system could automatically read the code and populate it into a "Notes" field or the Invoice Reference field. This would streamline data entry and reduce manual work.

Subscription - Read only data access for cancelled subscriptions
Can the data be access in a read-only mode for cancelled subscriptions?
Often historic data has to be referred to but once a subscription is cancelled, you are no longer able to view any of the data.

AU Payroll - List more than 50 employees for timesheet approval
Our business is growing, and now we employ over 60 employees. Is it possible to have more than 50 employees listed on one page for payroll processing?
It looks like '50' is the maximum of line items in the drop-down menue, and I have to go the the second page in order to approve all employees for the payroll.3 votes
