  2. When 'ignoring' tax notices (letters) and adding a note this is only available to be viewed while the date is available in the payment tab. It would be handy to have the Tax History including the body of the note be available in the Statement tab when the amount is ignored as it is when amount changes.

    When Importing from blue Xero to green xero - populating the tax return with data prepared on blue xero, the loan accounts with bank feed always appear in ASSETS section and no matter how many times we import that figure in the liability section, it appears as negative and thus unable to lodge

    Looks like your idea my have been cut off here, Oliver - Is there any more detail you'd like to share with this? While the Income by Contact report will show totals, you can easily click on an amount which will drill down to the contact activity for that period.


  8. Xero gave us a tax estimate for deceased estates (but only within the first three years...), and on my very first trial of this new feature ran into a roadblock - I cannot find anywhere to input the PAYG Instalments paid by the deceased estate, therefore the estimate is inaccurate.

  9. We leverage the Income Tax Client Report within XPM, and report on lodgements leveraging this data. It would be great if there was the ability to schedule the Tax Agent Request to the ATO for refreshed data - e.g. once per week, so that the reporting we have is automatically refreshed periodically and this doesn't rely on a person refreshing the data manually.

  12. Ability to connect to connect to the ATO and lodge activity statements where connected to multiple practices.
    We can lodge for clients we hold subscriptions for, but not for clients who self subscribe and grant us access.
    Have been advised if you're connected to multiple Xero HQ practices with the same email address and you try to lodge activity statements in Xero with the ATO, you'll get the error message – SBR.GEN.AUTH.006. This is because Xero can't determine which practice you're lodging activity statements in.

  14. As an accounting firm, we use many platforms for our clients, including Dext.
    During the Dext webinar today, we see that they have an amazing 'rule' section for vendors/customers with multiple line items. The description column is recognized and categorized to the assigned acct.

    My question to you......does (or will) HubDoc have this option available?

    I do see the 'Add last items' option, but this is not useful. I have attached a vendor invoice summary for reference

  15. It would be great to be able to set up Security Groups with permissions set for each group, which is then applied to each staff member by adding the Staff to that Security Group.

    This way, if a permission needs to be changed for a group of Staff, it can be done at the security group level rather than having to click into each Staff member and edit their individual permissions - which can create inconsistencies and easily miss settings when dealing with a large number of Staff.

    Hi Vicki, while Xero acquired Hubdoc, these are still two quite separate products. We don't have any plans for renaming tags in Hubdoc, or vice versa for Tracking in Xero. We'll get a sense of the interest for this here, however I do want just want to be open from the get go that this isn't in our plans. 

  18. Bulk Completion of Jobs
    Our team mark jobs as ready to invoice. It would be great if the billing team can click next to (select) mutliple jobs and click on a complete button without completing the jobs individually.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the continued interest in the timer in Practice Manager. As mentioned in my last update, work for a Pause option would require a lot of work, and it's not something we have plans for right now.

    However, we understand this is important to our customers and when our team have more capacity we'll explore how we might develop solution for this.

    We will keep let you know if there is any progression to share here.

  20. I think it would be great to have Xero Tax automatically populate tax agent fee from invoice raised to client in the past year as deduction in tax return
