  1. Problem: Xero connected to the ATO for activity statements. Client prepares monthly IAS (PAYGW only), Adviser prepares quarterly BAS (GST and one month's PAYGW). Adviser has to disconnect from ATO to finalise BAS in Xero and import into Xero Tax (to be able to send to the client for electronic signing and then making lodgement to the ATO).

    Solution: make it possible to finalise the AS in Blue Xero without disconnecting from the ATO, allowing Client to continue submitting IAS to ATO from within Xero and Adviser to import into Xero Tax to send for e-signing and lodgement.

  2. Please revert Payroll Detailed Report back to old format - new format is so nasty to try to reconcile/check against entries due to SOOOO many page breaks in the new format.

    Formatting is ugly and I have no idea why you keep messing with the report formats....new format changes create more pages to print too.... less ease with being able to read/identify issues....same with the Budget Reports. Just ugly and messy to look at.

  3. Would be great to have the ability in XPM tax to identify if the client has a payment arrangement with IR. If there is somewhere in tax we can enter this information and this gets flagged when approving the tax payment letter, not to send the letter if the tax year is under arrangement.

  4. Hi All, As we are based in Northern Ireland we have a lot of clients that purchase from both sides of the boarder, and are required to submit intrastat declarations on a monthly basis, however unlike Sage, this information can not be stored in Xero and then exported to submit to HMRC.

    It would make reporting this information so much easier.

  6. We are in the process of checking all Client details in XPM to ensure they are all complete and up to date. One of the checks that we were doing was to ensure that we had the NZBN numbers of clients recorded. However this appears to be the only client field that you are unable to select when creating a custom report!
    Xero's response to my query was "you may like to add this in as a custom field and input in the NZBN in the custom field section for the clients which will then pull into the report" -…

  7. Would be useful for tracking purposes to have ability of exporting clients list together with table informing who is subscriber. At the moment even filter like that cannot be applied to display clients in Xero HQ.

  8. Provide an option under the client group to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group with one invoice.

    At the moment it appears this can only be done under Invoices in the Business menu. Under the client group itself, while an invoice can be created for multiple jobs for one client, you can't create a single invoice to bill wip that's under multiple clients in the group.

  9. AU TAX - Client Substantiation for all Tax Returns.
    Only Activity Statements and Individual Tax Returns have Client Substantiations. Can we have client substantiation documents on all tax returns included in Trust Tax Returns, Partnership Tax Return, Company Tax Return.

  14. The Productivity Dashboard calculates productivity different to that of a built report. The % of productivity on the dashboard should be calculated as follows

    • Actual Productivity Divided by Actual Hours. Currently it divides Actual Productivity to Actual Capacity which is incorrect. The Actual Capacity is not actual hours and it needs to be

  17. If there is not already, it would be useful to have a proper cashflow summary report showing actual cash movements instead of having to balance against the movement in prepayments etc that come up in the current report.
    Same with my payroll, it would be nice to see net wages go out on one line and the PAYE paid on another.

  18. Fixed asset register - We used to be able to add fixed assets in the middle of a financial year and enter an accum dep to date value within the entry of the draft assets themselves. Now we are restricted to the beginning of a financial year. This is a backward step. Why has the extra functionality been removed?

  20. Provide the ability to schedule requesting on a daily basis the EFT Reconciliation reports in XPM, currently being a manual request locked behind Business settings permissions.
    Provide also the resulting reports in either a Custom Reports area or standard reports so admin staff without the Business Settings permissions can view the ATO EFT reconciliation reports, filtered by date and Tax Agent Number. Possibly add a permission to view these reports as a separate permission.
