Homepage | Profit & Loss - Common date selections (like report)
Why don't I have the same Time period options in the 'Net Profit and Loss' widget as I do on the actual report page?
I want to be able to see CURRENT month, quarter, etc on my home page and not just previous.
Inconvenient to have to click on the report and then change the time period manually every time I want to see how the month is tracking instead of just having the option directly on the homepage.1 voteAppreciate the feedback, Andreas. This isn't somethign we have plans for right now, but will start to gather interest in from the community here.

Homepage - Add Draft Bills
Ability to have a widget that lists Draft Bills. We leverage the Xero API to load expenses but they sit in Draft until coded. This would provide a 'To Do list'

get rid of a serious ennoyance
The "Invoices owed to you" widget NEEDS to have the "new invoice" button on top as before. What do we do with XERO besides accounting? Create invoices, and having to scroll down this widget is useless as ...... (fill in the blank). It's a very simple display change.

Active/Inactive contacts
With red and green lights on the small left part of each and every contact - it could be good idea to show that if they're active or inactive supplier or customers.
Let's say if we don't issue an invoice, or receive any bills from respective customer/supplier, within more than 2-3 years or so, perhaps they can be shown with red light, which will let an user to have idea if any action to be taken.Because as in the attached ss, it can be seen that we have many contacts of which many are inactive, or was one-off transaction…

to make home page a brief overview of
The new home page is very busy whereas the old version is simple and sharp. Perhaps the addition of widget or windows on new version can be an option for the user to pick if they require.

Simplify Bank Accounts Access
Would be good if the bank widgets could be in a different colour to the rest of the widgets and perhaps in a line down on side of the page. For a lot of clients they/we would not look at widgets at all so a separation for each access to the banks would be good.

Widgets need more background contrast or boarders etc. to create definition around different sections.

Have a Projects widget so you can record time, or add time to a project on the homepage.
Could we have a Project widget for time-recording, so you can track and save time right from the homepage.

cash in cash out 12 & 13 month display
Cash in cash out 13 month graph display
If the current graph could be configurable to show 12 rather than 6 months and also a 13 month option. Add Draft Invoices widget. It used to be available on the home screen before and now it's additional clicks away. Please bring it back.

Homepage - View total cash in banks (like on the app)
There is a widget to show our 3 bank accounts and their balances, but there is nothing that shows the total cash in bank amount?
When I log on in the app the first thing I see is the total amount of money in all our bank accounts combined. Why is it not the same when using windows?
1 voteGood to hear that you find this feature in the app useful, Shaun. These experiences differ as our Xero Accounting apps teams have a focus on the most valuable features our customers would find when doing work 'on-the-go'.
We'll get a sense of the interest in community for this here, and I'll share if there is any progress.

Homepage - "Narrow Mode" Option for Business Overview
I have a wide screen (normal width for a monitor, but wide compared to a tablet or laptop) which facilitates 4 widgets horizontally (the limit, after some testing).
The widgets take up the entire space horizontally, leaving no space either side, and feels cramped as a result. This is a break from a pretty long-standing web-design principle to which even the page I'm typing this suggestion into adheres (having about 10-15% margin/padding either side of your main content where space allows).
I'd love the option to cap the number of widget colums to 3 instead of 4 (keeping the width…

As you've noted the new Homepage is responsive and will auto adjust up to 4 widgets wide based on your device and computer and browsing zoom options.
We don't have any plans around enabling user based customisations to this layout but lets start by getting a gauge from community in this here 🙂
