  1. The repeating invoices that go to draft should have an option of saving for the next repeating invoice for that client. If you dont edit the invoice before it goes to draft eg: to increase an annual charge, then it does not save for the next time that repeating invoice comes up. Either that or give an option for a repeating invoice that has been delited to repeat again.

  2. We are a professional services company and use the quote feature to outline our objectives, scope of work and deliverables for a potential new project. As such, we use the summary window to enter all this information.

    It would be very useful for us to be able to resize the summary window to view a larger portion of the text. Some of our descriptions can run to several paragraphs and as such, the ability to review more text would be incredibly useful.

    I hope this can be implemented with some simple coding.

  3. It is far more common place and practical to set a give day of the week to send payment batches. I would assume that most businesses are not firing off payments every day of the week for every individual invoice (ie based on x number of days after invoice/bill date).

    That being said, I also believe it is far less common to be offering or to be offered payment terms of old (ie x days after EOM).

    It is and has been common place in our industry for more than 20 years, that suppliers provide payments terms of x days…

  4. Search Job name when searching for invoices
    The search function should be consistent across all search. If you can search for job name or part of job name in Search, you should be able to search for job name in Business/Invoices. This brings consistency to the search function.

  5. When an overpayment is entered while reconciling the bank transaction, the reference we enter while creating overpayment transaction should appear in the reference tab while applying the credit to an invoice.

  6. I already submitted and someone closed off my ticket incorrectly.

    I want the ability to have a default template for INVOICES and a different default template for QUOTES.

    Someone submitted this as already existing here https://central.xero.com/s/article/Set-default-invoice-quote-templates?userregion=true

    But the default invoice template set for the contact will override the organisation’s default template when you add an invoice, quote, customer

  7. When allocating a credit note to a customer invoice we need to be able to report on this event and no date is stored at the point of allocation.

    In the current system you can see credit notes allocated against invoices only when in the documents as a credit note displays similarly to a bank payment. You can to an extent identify credit notes allocated against invoices by running reports against the Accounts Receivable ledger, filtered by source 'credit note allocation' but you cannot filter this in any way to see recent events.   9. There needs to be the option of including the sales tax lookup feature on repeating invoices. All of our subscription based monthly invoices are taxable in states where we have met the Nexus guidelines and therefore we will have to begin manually creating each invoice on a monthly basis which is extremely time consuming. It's hard to believe that this issue has not been raised before.

  10. The upgraded Quotes layout does not allow me to attach pdf's from the Files Section.
    The only way to do this now is to download pdf from Files. Open Quote and Save it. Upload pdf.

    This has significantly slowed down the workflow - please can Xero Quotes be able to add attachemnts from Files and before Saving.

  11. Please could you enable the option of re-ordering an invoice on the mobile app. Sometimes invoices need to be changed or additions to be made to specific dates. For example, if I want to amend my invoice and add a charge , I would like to be able to press a re-order tab, to make all items billed live, so I can move then up or down the invoice. It is not a new idea, a lot of payment software have this as standard.

  12. Please look at amending the template for customer statements. Its terribly presented at the moment with overpayments being recognised under the invoiced amount section as a negative and balances not cumulating at the end

    Hi Neilin, I know you've mentioned customising the template, however from the sounds you'd like to change the behaviour of how items within a customer statement is represented?

    If so it'd be good to understand more of the reason of why you're wanting to show overpayments as a positive? 

    If a customer has paid more than expected amount this amount is then a credit on their record and in turn draws down the total amount owed. 

    Alternatively you may want to be looking at recording as a prepayment? 

  13. It would be nice when entering transactions, for the date field to remain as the last entered date, at least while staying on the transaction page. It is frustrating having to enter the date each and every time when entering transactions. I understand a lot of people are working in there, in real time, and that it is beneficial that the date is always "todays" date, however, when entering stuff for a client from the previous month, this gets annoying.

  14. Can you colour code each row in the "Sales Overview > Invoices" based on "status" so that paid invoice listings are "green", waiting payment are "orange" and overdue are perhaps "red"? At the moment the "Sent" column is the only colour coded column which shows "green" whether the invoice is just "sent" or "viewed" which doesn't make it easy to know which invoice to chase for payment.

  15. I'm invoicing through Xero and I want to allow customers to save their card on file in my stripe account when they pay an invoice.

    This way, we can bill them again in the next cycle. We deal with metered pricing, so the value of the invoice is different each month based on usage.

  17. Add the tick box in Sales Overview > Invoices > ALL tab

    We want to bulk upload all invoices for the week in 1 file regardless of the status (paid/unpaid). We couldn't at the moment because of the absence of the tick boxes in the ALL tab.

    Rounding back on your idea here, Abigail - It'd be good to get more understanding of your business flow and why you'd be wanting to create invoices of another status. For example is here a specific reason you'd like to import invoices that have already been paid for? Could these potentially be entered as Receive monies or is there a reason they need to be raised in Xero once they've already been paid? TIA 

  18. When an invoice in emailed in Workflowmax it is marked with a tick as “Sent”, however this does not carry through to Xero. Is it possible to add this feature so that invoice payment reminders in Xero automatically work without the need to manually change the invoice status to “Sent”?
