  2. Could you please add the field “[Tax Return] Suspended Until” to the fields available when you write an “Income Tax Client – ITCRPT” report.

    This would allow a report of all clients we are ATO Agent for showing their tax return due date, status and suspended until date all on one report.

  3. With Xero Ask queries you specify a due date but if the query is not replied to there is no reminder sent to the client once the date has passed.

    Can we please have reminders automatically sent, much in the same way invoice reminders are sent.

  5. Practice Manager - Bulk update ITR due dates within tax return

    If we request the income tax client report through Xero, the due dates update in the client detail level, but not in the tax return if they have already been created.
    Being able to bulk update the due dates within the tax return, especially when deferrals are requested and successful with the ATO would be helpful as manually updating them all can be time consuming.

  6. Is there a way to flag a client, ie Warning/Ban or make them Inactive but keep their history in Xero?

    We have a system that have a number of clients with similar/identical names and we would like flag a client for particular reason, ie account terms etc or ban etc.

  7. Bring back Xero HQ Activity tab. It was the only place you can see which of your clients GST Returns still needed to be filed.

    You cant even generate a report for this in myIR Intermediary.

  8. Just a simple one, but it has something I've spoken to many Xero account managers over the years.

    When preparing a tax return, you currently see an amount payable or amount refundable in text, and the dollar amount in bold black next to it.

    I feel that it would be a simple, yet positive change, to have the dollar value display in green when there is an amount refundable, or red when there is an amount payable.   10. Xero Sign - It would be great if there was an indicator to let us know that one or more clients within the one document pack have signed the documents. (if it is sent to multiple people) We only get notified once everyone signed.

    Hi everyone, while this is something our team began looking into, unfortunately this has been put down with other more immediate work taking priority.

    Hopefully they will be able to pick this back up down the track, but we'll move back to Submitted for now and continue tracking the interest here. I'll let you know if there are any more changes.

  12. Being about to print multiple Tax Returns by selecting the box in Returns and having a print options, it would be amazing if you could also select to redact Tax file numbers or choose to print them.
    At the moment I need to print 17 today, I have to go into each individual client and select the tax return, select to print etc. It would save a lot of time being able to print multiples

  14. Box 29 of the IR10 should match the taxable income per the main income tax return (IR3, IR4, IR6, IR7, etc).

    It would be helpful if when running an audit check on a tax return, XPM checks to see whether they match and notifies us when it does not match.

    Hi Caeden, thanks for sharing your idea about IR10 validation. It’s great to understand how automatically matching Box 29 with the main tax return could make audit workflows smoother.

  15. Any taxpayer can only have one ABN.
    Why does Xero leave P5 blank when it could put the ABN (which is already in the client record) into P5 for me?
    If you're worried about there sometimes being an ABN in the client record but there being no business that year and it needing to be blank.. then make it work the same as when I rollover from a prior period - last year's fields are rolled over but I can delete them if need be.

  16. From the initial client view, there should be a number next to the Notes section, to show that there are notes to look at (as there are for invoices, jobs etc)

  17. Ability to run an Aged Debtors Report of what debts clients owed us at a certain date in XPM. For example, we want to see what our clients owed us at 30/06/25, however the Standard Report (Aged Balance Report) can't be run to a certain date and if we create our own Report in Report Builder it removes clients from the report if they have paid since 01/07/25 and now owe nothing. We need these figures to do clients Financials and also for our own Practice reporting. We can run it in Xero Blue however we don't have the ability…

  18. When filing an SA100, allow us to change the Personal allowance of the client to match their actual tax code, so the return can be filed correctly. Currently on the generic tax code is catered for, and this doesn’t account for people who have different tax codes.

  19. When creating a new job the client drop down list can be quite long. it would be good to have the ability to search for the client name instead of selecting from a dropdown menu.

    Hi everyone, we’ve created this idea based on feedback we’ve heard from the community.

    We know how important it is to be able to instantly search for a client when creating a job in Xero Practice Manager. Manually scrolling through a long drop-down list can be time-consuming, especially for practices with a large client base.

    Adding a search function here would make the process faster and more efficient, helping you get straight to work.

    Hi Lucy, thanks for sharing this specific feedback about our AU Tax module. We know that small adjustments to default settings can often make a big difference in streamlining a workflow.

    We've reviewed your suggestion to change the default option to 'Yes' for transferring capital gains to the tax return on the Managed Fund Schedule. Your idea is now ready to gain support and feedback from other tax preparers in the community.
