  1. I believe there should be an option to run a report which shows which tax returns / activity statements have been amended and lodged as a revised version for your whole client database. Without this, there is no current way of knowing the amount of revised returns / activity statements that you have lodged which can be a problem.

  2. It would be timesaving to be able to Create a Tax Form (all types) directly within the Returns tab and link to an Existing Client and Job.

    What would be even better would be to be able to add a Job on the fly during the process if not already established.

  3. New XPM Contacts that link to multiple clients shows archived contacts when search. This is confusion to know which contact to select when the client has archived entities, if use incorrect one then not using 1 main contact. Currently having to select each one till find the main contact with current contact info.
    Need to block out archived contacts from showing or atleast show a symbol against them so know not to select it.

  4. Currently, if I am looking at a Workpaper and I click on the Flag next to an account, I can add a Review Point for that account.

    That review point shows up in the list at the bottom of the workpaper.

    If I click the flag next to the account, I can see the review points that have been added to that account... but I can't see the replies to those review points and nobody can reply to them from that area.

    I have to scroll down to the bottom to reply to the review point.

    Hi team, as you might've heard we have a new Workpapers solution that will be rolling out to partners over the coming months. It focuses on creating a more streamlined and deeply integrated compliance workflow, taking on board many of the ideas represented in community here.

    While the new solution won't show the account name just yet, there is a reference to the account number denoted to the right of the review point. You can see an example in my attached image.

    We appreciate partners would still like to see the account name referenced and we have another idea that we're tracking interest in this for here, please do add your vote to that if you'd like to see this too.

    We'll be staggering the rollout with Australia first off the cuff, and other regions to follow in early 2026. I'll keep you updated of it's release here. Thanks!

  5. Our existing tax software has a summary page that is automatically generated and goes alongside the CT600 that includes the payment amount, due date, bank details to use and payment reference. I.e. a perfect 1 page summary to give to the client so they know what to pay.
    It would be great if Xero Tax could incorporate this into their solution so that the payment details don't have to be sent to the client separately.

  6. Export/Import Xero Network Keys for clients (from Xero HQ) in order to be able to import into company Xero.

    So that our invoices can also be sent directly to the clients Xero, so saves time on bookkeeping.

  7. Xero Practice Manager - Bulk unlock or lock of timesheets

    We have a large volume of staff (over 50) so being able to submit timesheets which come across from FYI after we have completed our pay runs in bulk would be ideal.

    In the same vein, being able to bulk update timesheet lines which may contain the same error would also be handy.

  11. Enable use for non-Xero clients

    For non-Xero clients, it would be very useful to be able to use Workpapers by importing client trial balances. Kindly update when this feature will be available.

  12. Create "to do" lists in tasks, and allowing them to become a template - this would make it so much easier when creating jobs - gives staff a tick off for each task if required.

    Would be so much easier than currently doing it through a Job Level and having to create tasks with "To Do' lists individually.

  13. Link Xero Ask to XPM Job Numbers. We want to use Xero Ask, but we need it link the questions to specific jobs as well as specific clients.

  14. It would be great to have an option to prepare a CT600 only: We prepare a number of accounts for friendly societies so don't file accounts for them, but we do need to file CT600s for them.

  15. Ability to Delete a Client from Xero Practice Manager if they have an IRD Number and/or Tax Returns.
    Have found that XPM has been updated so can no longer delete a Client if they have either and IRD Number or Tax Returns (including Archived Tax Returns). Client has to be Archived instead. Wanting to delete especially in cases such as the Client being deceased, rather than having to Archive (especially as Archived Clients can still appear in reports).
    While could delete the IRD Number and all Tax Returns from the Client, then delete, this could be a long process (as…

  16. Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).

  17. It would be great if we could report on more fields in XPM - in this instance, who does an invoice in XPM. There is a history section in the invoice, but there is no way to add this data to a report. E.g. I am using a 'job report' that includes the 'Date Last Invoiced', and it would be great if we could also show 'who created the invoice' (and/or approved and exported). We have tried adding a custom field on the job to allocate the staff member, but as this is manual, it would be a lot easier…

  18. Is it possible to have the starred clients as feature in reports? If we export a client list, we can't see which clients are the 'starred' (main contact for the group in our case). It would be super handy when trying to get a list of our main contacts and easily remove the clients that aren't starred.

  19. The mandatory notes section on FRS 105 needs upgrading, so that the notes on things like movement in directors loans, and operating lease commitments, can be completed by merely filling in numbers into a template matrix. At the moment, no tabular layout is possible.

  20. Being able to pick specific due dates for recurring jobs, rather than having to select per day/week/month. BAS & IAS due dates will be different depending on how many days in the month there are.
