Job Manager - Create a 'To do' list of recurring tasks
Create "to do" lists in tasks, and allowing them to become a template - this would make it so much easier when creating jobs - gives staff a tick off for each task if required.
Would be so much easier than currently doing it through a Job Level and having to create tasks with "To Do' lists individually.

Practice Manager - Edit Jobs Manager screen to add or delete columns that are relevant to a practice The ability to add notes would be very helpful.

Right now, we're developing columns for Staff, Manager and Partners. Around the same time we expect to deliver these additions, we'll also enable you to hide detail you'd prefer not to view. So, you can decide and only see the information relevant for you when viewing Jobs.
We'll return to share more when this is available🙂

XPM - Support for foreign rental schedules
Foreign Rental Schedules - set up the same as AU rentals where you can link spouses for the information to pull through so you don't have to re enter everything

Practice manager | Xero Sign - Report on date sent
Ability to be able to report on the date sent for Xerosign returns. The date sent is recorded but you can't report on it. This would make follow ups a lot easier to be able to see when each out to sign return was sent for e-signing.

Xero Practice Manager - Ability to delete client
Ability to Delete a Client from Xero Practice Manager if they have an IRD Number and/or Tax Returns.
Have found that XPM has been updated so can no longer delete a Client if they have either and IRD Number or Tax Returns (including Archived Tax Returns). Client has to be Archived instead. Wanting to delete especially in cases such as the Client being deceased, rather than having to Archive (especially as Archived Clients can still appear in reports).

XPM - Timesheet Credit Option for Team Members
Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).

Practice Manager | Reporting Fields - Invoicing
It would be great if we could report on more fields in XPM - in this instance, who does an invoice in XPM. There is a history section in the invoice, but there is no way to add this data to a report. E.g. I am using a 'job report' that includes the 'Date Last Invoiced', and it would be great if we could also show 'who created the invoice' (and/or approved and exported). We have tried adding a custom field on the job to allocate the staff member, but as this is manual, it would be a lot easier…

Bank Accounts - Include bank accounts with COA import
Enable a Bank account to be created when the Chart of Accounts we have created in HQ is imported. Currently, this is not possible. All Bank accounts in the COA need to be changed to Current Assets, and then in the newly created Xero Blue organisation file, the "Bank" accounts have to be deleted and created again! Very annoying. The overall process is great, but this is annoying. We have many bank accounts in our various standard chart of accounts. I want to include the bank accounts so that my staff know the account numbers to use when they set…

Xero Tax (AU) - Ability to hide client / contact fields
Ability to hide more sensitive data from staff.
I have an employee who works overseas. Currently I think we can only hide the TFN details but it would be good to also be able to hide date of birth, address and now Director ID details.
They do not need to see all of the sensitive data when preparing tax returns so it would be good to have some options of what data we can hide from employees.

AU Tax - CGT Suffered on sale of foreign property
On the foreign income page on self assessment on Xero Tax, I do not have the function to complete boxes 33 to 40 in order to enter foreign capital gains tax suffered.

AU Tax - ATO warning for Crypto Currency and CGT disposals when validating returns
we can now do a prefilling of a return very easily, however, we still need to go into the ATO website to download the full prefilling report (approximate 2 -3 minutes) to find any ATO warnings such a Crypto currency transactions or Capital Gain Disposals for shares....or even worse the client has a warning about excessive prior year deductions claimed. If this was to come across when Xero did the download ATO prefilling and come up on the Xero warning when you validate the returns ...this would save time and potential missing of these warnings

Practice Manager | Permissions - Restriction access to change bank account details for client
Add restriction on changing bank account details for client (in XPM and tax return).
Given Optus and related fraud - > not all staff should have the ability to update bank account details on a client.
There should be the ability to restrict this so procedures - eg phone calls to verify etc - can be put in place.5 votes -

Why do we need to have all of the 'Z do not use' sections appear when setting up a new pack that then need to be unticked? It would be better to have them unticked in the first place

History & Notes - Track changes to Client Xero Subscription

Trust financial statements (NZ) - Update template to comply with IRD
Update New Zealand trust financial reporting templates to comply with the Tax Administration (Financial Statement - Domestic Trusts) Order 2022 as set out in Inland Revenue's Operational Statement OS 22/02, including removing reference to repealed Trustees Act 1956 and replacing with Trusts Act 2019.
