  2. Would it be possible to match a VAT payment or refund to a VAT return?

  4. Per the attached screenshots, it would significantly increase efficiency to be able to use quick keyboard shortcuts when entering timesheets. Specifically the + and SAVE buttons, as almost everything else can be entered using the keyboard alone.

I'd like a dashboard showing all clients listed under our organization with all banking details as well as in the moment bank feed status (ie: is the bank feed active, does it needs to be refreshed, has it dropped). This would enable those that have many clients under their organization to work smarter to fix bank feeds as soon as they're down without delays.

    Hi team, thanks for engaging us on the idea here. We appreciate more visibility of client bank feeds would help when managing and serving your clients day-to-day.

    With the new Xero Partner Hub homepage we are designing and developing a range of widgets to help partners manage their practices. Right now, we're developing a Bank feed disruptions widget that'll help you identify any disruptions to bank feeds that affect your clients feeds, helping you to fix bank feeds as soon as they're down without delays.

    This is in development atm, and I'll share an update when this becomes available within Xero Partner Hub.

    I was told that when you create a job for client A, you can only create CURNN for client A.

    We are unable to make CURNN for client A's association - such as their spouse, their business (company, trust, partnership, etc) or any client in client A's group.

    To do a CURNN for client A's spouse, i would have to create a job for the spouse then create the CURNN.

Appreciate you have also shared detail around this with our specialists at Xero Support, however just highlighting that ideas in the forums here are for the community to support any detail you can provide through the idea directly here will also help other community members understand and support your ideas.

    We don't have any immediate changes around this planned, for now you'll want to add a New CURNN to each individual client. We'll continue to keep an eye on the community support for this here,.

  7. Timesheet view and function similar to outlook calendar. Where it shows your timesheet entries like meetings on your calendar.

    1. It would be quick and easy to identify gaps you are missing
    2. Being able to drag them to extend or reduce entries
    3. Being able to copy and paste an entry. Make for faster input.

  9. It would be great if we could use Collaboration Manager to assign emails directly to the Client, rather than a Job or a Quote. These emails would then be automatically stored under the Notes tab in the Clients screen.

  10. When invoicing a job for a client that has a Billing Client I would like to able to sometimes invoice the Job Client instead of the Billing Client. Currently if there is a Billing Client exists XPM forces you to invoice the Billing Client.

  11. When going through tax payment letters it can be useful to make a note i.e spoken with client re tax or checked IRD. However, once the tax payment is approved it cannot be edited or deleted and also will not remain in the notes box but rather provisional tax history.

    Hi community, we’re excited to announce that we're rolling out a new Workpapers solution. Considering the ideas raised for Workpapers in these forums our product team have done their best wrap many key requests into new Xero Workpapers!

    As highlighted in this idea, within the new solution there are customisable checklists and workflows, including check boxes designed to give you a clear and simple way to track and manage your review and sign-off processes. Our goal is to streamline your compliance workflows and reduce the need for manual tracking.

    We're releasing this in stages, starting with early access in Australia, with a progressive rollout to follow. I'll share more as this lands with everyone through this idea.

  13. Having the ability to create a separate set of work papers for the practice that is confidential and not visible to all users.
    At the moment staff can see the practices private and confidential financial information.

    Hi everyone, we're working on a new Workpapers solution which will build a foundation that can support more granular access controls in the future.

    We have plans to enable the ability to restrict access to sensitive workpapers and documents, ensuring only the right people can view or edit them, and all actions will be auditable. We'll be rolling the new solution out in phases, and we'll keep you updated on the progress for permissions through this idea.

  14. ATO prefilling summary to include column displaying relevant Tax Return Label next to prefill information

    Example (Individual Tax Return - Bank Interest)
    Gross Interest $x,*** Label 10L

    Example (Managed Funds Distributions)
    Non primary production income amount $x,*** Label 13U

    Currently the ATO prefilling summary does not show the Tax Return Label which information will be prefilled into. Inclusion of Labels will make reconciliation between prefilling and Tax Return easier.

  15. If you send an email from the XPM Job it automatically adds the details as per the "name" field of the job as the subject in the email.

    Please add the name of the client after the insertion of the "job name" field of the job in the subject.
    If I do have a client with multiple entities, it can be confusing for the client as he does not know for which entity the mail is - he only sees the job number and the job description. If you look in history of your mails you can then also search…

  16. Please add an option in collaboration to show active only or ALL jobs.

    We sometimes receive mails after the job was completed(or billed) but then we must open the job to allocate any mails received.

  17. We would love a client report showing the Industry as it is in the Xero Organisation Settings.

    Currently the report gives the Main Industry classification but not the Sub Category.

    For Example the HQ report would show a company industry is Construction but actually the company provides Electrical Services and there is no report to get this detail of all the clients.

  18. We have some clients that have multiple businesses under their personal names. Can we please have individual worksheets for each business to input income and expenses which then automatically totals into the business schedule in the main form?

    At the moment in XERO tax, we need to put the grand totals into the business schedule, then split the amounts across the businesses for each expense/income line item. This is not practical as we generally receive separate figures for each business, not a grand total.

  19. Group Custom Fields - it would be very useful to be able to assign custom fields to groups rather than only contacts & individuals, then be able to report on these fields. This would help with areas such as marketing, estimated fee groups, and handover notes.

    We currently use the main billing entity but this would save a lot of time and improve efficiencies.

  20. We would like to be able to comment on the tax payment and save the comment, rather than making the comment and having to approve and then unapprove the letter to get it back to waiting for approval. This would also be good for tax notices that we ignore, as we can put a note as to why we are ignoring them.
