  1. I would like to have hubdoc periodically log in to our supplier's account( Fedex, Amazon, Upwork, UPS etc) and fetch the invoices automatically.

    Dext Prepare already does that so I can see Xero loosing thousands of dollars by relying on third party software. I guess let's start with the most popular suppliers and take it from there. This can be an add on to Hubdoc for a bit extra and happy to pay as long as it is comparable in price to other software packages. That would greatly automated our accounts.

  2. Hi guys,

    It would be great if we could get reminders for customers and suppliers birthdays, this is great for customer relations. Also a reminder for certain documents that might expire at a certain time.

  3. Needs 'Are you sure' pop up for Deleting Contact Files

    Its too easy to accidentally delete a file attached to a Contact. Needs to be an 'Are you sure you want to delete ...' pop up when deleting.
    Especially as it also doesn't populate in the history/notes section that anything has been deleted.

  4. It would be hugely helpful if we could add rules under supplier settings in hubdoc much like the bank rules in Xero. E.G. Client has a home office and I want to split the electricity bill 33% to Power and 67% to Drawings. Number 1 - I won't have to try and remember what the percentage for each client is as they vary and number 2 - I would be able to use the automated function to Publish to Xero.

  5. Currently you cannot submit a purchase order in Hubdoc, there is no "publish as" option.
    It would be good if it was an option and have it flow/link with purchase orders in Xero, to which then can flow into Approvalmax to be approved.
    Currently it requires an employee to access another system which would be good to limit.

  6. We have imported all our contacts (a mixture of customers and suppliers) into Xero but they have all gone into the "All" category and there is now no way of assigning them to the "Customers" or "Suppliers" categories. It seems like a crazy restriction that not even the Xero people can fix for us. My suggestion is to allow us to move them out of All into one of the other categories.

    Hello Trang, you can tag multiple documents at once by holding ctrl/cmd on your keyboard. Note that you'll need to create the tag first before you can do this - Read more on our article for more information. 

    Because Hubdoc can't bulk update the documents to be "Mark as paid" right now, I've changed the title of your idea, so we can see the interest from the community here :)

  8. Ability to push files that’s uploaded in Xero Files to cloud storage (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, and Sharepoint).

    Purpose: Users can easily store/keep their files that they’ve uploaded in Xero into their own cloud storage. Especially when they have many documents that exceed the limit of Xero Files.

    Hi team, though we appreciate the use you'd find in being able to connect or send Xero Files to your cloud storage we want to be open that this isn't in our short terms plans.

    We're keen to keep getting an understanding of interest in the capability, and will share if there are any updates or progress of this, here.

  9. Please provide functionality in Xero to turn off the contact name suggestions when creating an invoice, bill, receive money or spend money transaction. This is very frustrating especially if you make a mistake and it saves it, it is there forever. Also the list can get quite long. We need to delete the names that are not required anymore from the list. Please, please fix this issue up.

    Hi everyone, appreciate the feedback here. As you may have noticed we have made some changes to the Contact field within new invoicing over the past few months to improve the experience.

    When entering a contacts name, the contact's shown are results from your existing contact record.

    As a start to help with cleaning up contacts that have been created in error you can either edit contact records, or merge contacts that may have been created as duplicates in error. This will help limit the number of contacts that are appearing in results when you type a contacts name on an invoice.

  10. Not an idea really but a bug which needs fixing.
    A lot of suppliers like FedEx for example send $0 bills which HubDoc is unable to publish to Xero as the Tax and Subtotal amounts is calculated wrongly despite the bill's Total Amount of $0.00 being correctly detected. As a result the invoice cannot be published to Xero.

  11. Can we please have the ability to see if a note has been added to a document when you are in the Hubdoc APP without having to go into a document.

    The ability to see this is available in the Web version, would be great to see it in the APP as well.

In the new contact view, everything is spread out, with lots of wasted white space (similar to the bills list without 'compact view' toggled, or the list of repeating bills (which doesn't have the ability to be compact in view). I can deal with the info I need to pick a transaction to open being on complete opposite sides of a widescreen by pulling the contact into a new window and reducing the width of that window until it's readable without excessive twisting of the head (a poor workaround for an ergonomics risk, but it's the only one I could…

  13. HUBDOC Sorting Alphabetical Feature needed PLEASE. Wishing to request an extra sort option under the "Sort by" button above the "Processing", "Review", "Failed", "Archived" tabs. Currently we have "Upload Date", "Bill Date", "Due Date" & "Amount" options. We create a statements folder for each month and when we're trying to check off the statements with whats in Xero report that is sorted by alphabetical order it would be practical.   14. When a client uploads or emails a file to the Xero files area of their own subscription, it would be helpful if we, as their accountants, could receive a notification to let us know there is a file waiting for us.
    This should be an optional setting, perhaps even with limits (eg notify me for every 5 files uploaded).

  15. It would be useful if a notification was sent when any document was uploaded. Currently, there are supplier level notifications but when there is something that has been uploaded (jpg, memo, etc) and the system is unable to identify it to a supplier it dumps it to the failed tab which at present does not create any notification.

  16. Could we add a feature to enable us to email out service and inspection reminders up to 28 days before it is due.
    This could be done by date only.
    It would save us having to add another app and potentially another running system to get this feature.

  18. From the Files Inbox, there is a way to attach the file to a NEW transaction, but please allow it to be attached to an existing transaction too. This is especially useful when there are lots of files in the Inbox.

    Appreciate why you'd like to be able to attach a file to an existing transaction from the detail you've shared here, Hitesh.

    This isn't possible from the Files inbox atm, however as you may already be across - from the flip side you can attach a file from the Files inbox from within the transaction.

    Do get this means having to go to the transaction to perform what you're asking and we'll get a sense of the interest in being able to attach to an existing transaction from within the Files inbox, here.

  20. Please could you add a Title field into the customers name - my invoices show with just the surname on which is very unprofessional.
    ie. Mr Smith on the invoice would look much nicer than just Smith !!! This must be a basic thing to do.?? Please consider this as urgent.
