  1. Just like the "Drop or click to upload files" area below this text box, I'd like an area within each transaction that I can use to upload an invoice or receipt. Rather than clicking the add document button and searching through the file hierarchy.

  2. There are quite a few filters on Hubdoc, but there isn't one to filter by the user that uploaded the document, we have quite a few employees that upload and process documents in Hubdoc, but they keep having to go through all the documents uploaded by other users to process their documents.

    We would like a filter that allows you to filter by user.

  3. Please can foreign currency be OPTIONAL and turned off?

    Foreign currency has been added our file in error via an invoice from Hubdoc that was uploaded as USD. It has since been corrected to AUD and there are no foreign currency transactions in the ledger.
    BUT - all reports annoyingly come up with all the 'source' columns. We don't want this to accidentally happen again when we are getting invoices from offshore software providers etc.
    We ONLY report in AUD.

  4. As the new invoicing is no longer optional. I believe this issue must be addressed for all customers in the United Kingdom.

    When adding a new contact upon invoice creation, allow us to search for the address via postcode like we used to. This could be achieved by postcode search ABOVE Billing Address, then auto-populate the billing address based on the input post code.

    Note there were many issues with the search results which must also be addressed (See: https://productideas.xero.com/forums/939198-for-small-businesses/suggestions/46289185-contacts-improve-uk-postcode-lookup)

  5. When trying to identify how many new contacts have been added in a certain period it is impossible without pulling months of billing and sorting by client name. Also would be great for marketing to know about Client anniversaries.

    Simply by adding a field for the date added when setting up the record would be ideal, it could then be shown on the exported contacts report.

  6. Xero have changed the files section and now there is inbox and then archive. All the previous folders clients have are now in the archive section. In order to file something in a folder they now need to move it to the archive section which as this shows all documents, they then have to find the document again and then tick it and use the move to button to move it to the chosen folder. Xero need to add the move to button to the inbox screen otherwise clients are having to do multiple clicks again to move the documents.…

  7. We have dozens of parent companies with underlying subsidiaries who place separate orders for separate locations, all under the parent company's credit line/name. These all split into different contacts in Xero when they come in from our order processing system. We need Xero to support hierarchies/parent-child relationships/nested orders, so that all purchases can be aggregated to the parent company, both for tracking overall credit use and for sending consolidated statements that include all purchases from all "children". We work with BigCommerce who has a BundleB2B feature that allows these kind of parent-child hierarchies on the client-facing side, but we can't…

  9. When editing the document in Hubdoc, could the creditor/suppliers bank account number please automatically show in the Xero details area. As then we could confirm that the right Xero creditor has been selected and that the bank account number matches the supplier invoice at that moment.

  10. Hello Xero Support,

    I would like to suggest an enhancement to the customer contact feature for better management of email addresses. Many customers use different email addresses for specific purposes, such as one for receiving tax invoices and another for account statements. Currently, this creates an issue when using the "Send Statement" feature under the Sales Overview, as it can’t send statements to all customers at once when their default email address is designated for tax invoices only.

    It would be helpful to have the option to nominate different email addresses for specific purposes (e.g., "Tax Invoice," "Account Statement," etc.)…

  11. HubDoc - Audit Trail

    We desperately need an audit trail for documents in HubDoc. We need to know who viewed a document when, who published when, who archived it and when, etc.

  12. On the contacts page you can see the bills and the value, it will either appear with the value in the paid column or the due column unless it has been allocated against a credit. Any allocated credit notes and the invoices they have been allocated to appear as £0.00 in the paid and due column. Now as we have to allocate the credits in order to include them in a bulk payment (a completely pointless time consuming exercise still not addressed by XERO! but lets not get side tracked by another basic function missing) the fact the values are…

  13. There should be a way we can change the email address that the files inbox accepts to make it more tailored to clients?

    For example for a client, their inbox files email could be: xero.inbox.owerthsgm56785.49n6356@xerofiles.com which is crazy!

    It would be so much better if it could be something like xero.inbox.clientname@xerofiles.com

  14. Hubdoc uses a different method of rounding in the "Transaction Details" section compared to the "Destination Section" which causes a "Line item tax amounts do not total to document tax amount' error

    It is due to a calculation error of rounding on the multiple split lines. The two values I have on an invoice are $20 and $3.70 including GST. Therefore 1.818182 and 0.336364 GST, if you sum these up it equals 2.154545. When rounded it equals 2.15 which is what my store receipt says and also what is within the…

  16. A number of overseas entities, may be registered to charge GST to AU customers, particularly if they are selling digital services into AU. Many of these entities are registered with an ARN (ATO Reference Number), rather than an ABN.

    If registered with an ARN, they can charge GST, however the recipient of the service cannot claim the GST credits.

  17. Move the Delete button away from preview in files attached to contacts.
    So many times, I have accidently deleted files attached to contacts. The delete button is right next to the preview. There is no way to restore once deleted..

  18. Right now, we see average days we pay or receive payment. It would be good if we can have another row that shows us the payment terms we have with the contact so we can benchmark against performance that way. The data is already in Xero, just need to show it.

  19. I have 4000 archived contacts that I need to restore. Doing them one by one is ridiculous and will take an eternity. Adding check boxes on the side to select multiple to restore in bulk would be an easy feature to add and benefit greatly.

  20. We use another software programme which exports all our customer details and invoices etc into Xero automatically. The other programme uses Google to create addresses. A lot of the addresses include te reo, so include macrons. When the text is imported into Xero the macrons cause non-recognition of the characters, so we end up with a mess.
    Surely in this modern world, Xero, an Aotearoa, New Zealand, developed programme, can be made to recognise our indigenous (Official) language, and allow correct te reo spellings.

    Hi Karin, would it be possible to get a few more examples of names that you've tried to import and not have show with macrons? 

    One of our team have tested creating a contact via import with the name Whakatāne (/mækrn, me-/) and this created a contact in Xero as shown in this image. 

    It'd be great to better understand and see if we can look into this a bit more.
