  1. It would be really helpful to be able to able to pull off a debtor report showing the NET figures, not gross. As i am continually being requested by IF to reproduce debtors report as net as they don't fund the VAT !

  2. It would be nicer if the Tabs were Named "My Business" "Advisor" "Standard" "Draft" "Published" and "Archived" in that order so the default Tab would be custom reports for this business. Many users never look past the "Home" tab, and never see the custom Reports.

  4. When I go into Customers and drill down, I like to be able to see the layout that invoices and bills are shown separately and I can select which one I want to view. This will no longer be the case with the new report formats. Is there any conversation that this could be requested? Thank you

  5. In the old version of the report you could over type a selected account with another to quickly see the new account.
    In the new version you 1/ can't see the accounts you choose easily, 2/can't deselect (you must first "Select All" then "Deselect All".
    If I have missed something please let me know.
    This is making spot checking of account transactions much slower, and time equals money.

  7. It would be really useful that when you are selecting to add a new Group under Row's that it adds the new group option in the location you are currently at, rather than adding it in at the top of the report and having to move it down to where you want it to go.

    Also having the ability with the when adding a new formula to be able to select how you want the formula result to appear (ie %, $, rounded $ to the nearest $ etc).

  8. I need to run a report in Xero that sees the variance in purchaser cost price on a month by month basis for a product group not based on sales/bills
    Otherwise the only way is by an Excel spreadsheet

  9. Please restore the display of the closing balance on the first page of this report.
    The report is used each month to check control accounts which may go to many pages.
    The closing balance used to show on the first page which was extremely helpful not you have to scroll to the bottom (and you have removed the option for less transactions to show) and then we have to scroll through to the last page in order to see the balance.
    Please bring back the functionality of the old report before you stop access to it

  10. It would be useful if we were able to edit the layout of the tracking reports so that these can then be included in management accounts and other custom reports.

  11. Can you get the new TB to download with the account code and description in the same column as was possible in the old TB. (see attached)
    It's a great column to upload into tax software as a description, instead of having to mess about with 2 separate code and description columns.

  13. Another product idea to suggest is to have Account transactions report account code GST control account to also show the related account
    For example invoice number and invoice amount on how the tax amount derives from.

    Appreciate your feedback on the change from older reports to new. While we don't have any direct plans for making updates to the formatting of formulas when exporting to excel we have just made some updates to excel export of reports I wanted to highlight for you here, where we've;

    • Adjusted the default zoom from 150% to 100%, and slightly change the size of title and currency fonts to make the report easier to read
    • Made small changes to the formatting of cells in rows to create more consistency across the report

    We'll stay tuned into the support for other changes coming through the site here an let you know if there's any news on this, here.

  15. can you please increase the capacity for downloading general ledgers because at the moment it seems very limited. Often we have to send large files and the capacity at the moment is insufficient

  16. atm if a client asks what is included in a figure in the accounts, I can only manually deduce that, or generate a spreadsheet analysing all the Trial Balance into the headings (the tagging screen is quick reference for generating this) but surely it should be possible to run a report.

    Hi Malcolm, returning to your idea here it would be good to get more understanding if there are specific figures or reports your customers are asking about or you'd want to track the make up of?

    Atm it's possible to edit the layout of the Profit & Loss of Balance sheet reports to either show a total of grouped accounts or have these all listed amounts that show the individual accounts within each section.

  18. Looking out our month-on-month Income Statement is cumbersome. Adding "YTD" in the "compare with" field would be an upgrade to fairly standard accounting.

  19. We regularly use Tracking Categories to allocate bills to Projects. The Account Transactions report is great for showing bills and payments by Project. However, each line has to be individually accessed to see the underlying uploaded document.

    Accountants regularly ask for these receipts which need to be individually downloaded and we have to manually create a spreadsheet linking each receipt.

    This would be hugely easier if the Excel export of the report allowed a field for a URL linking to the uploaded document, like all good receipt tracking apps allow.

  20. Were clients have figures in the New Xero Cashflow report of $1,000,000 and $10,000,000. The cashflow can only handles this by reducing the months on the report. An Idea to get arround this would be to do what larger company's do in a prospectus. State in a subtitled that all figures are in millions and omit the last 3 zeros.
