This is CRITICAL! DEFINITELY NEED THIS ASAP...
How/why is it not there already!??

This would be a brilliant feature to enable us to send reports to key individuals in the organisation without having to give access to the reports module.

This is something that is needed. Various regulatory requirements would be easily helped if this was in play.

What we need is

1) The ability to generate a report on a schedule.
2) Specify a format and the parameters.
3) Specify an email address / Xero user that it goes to. Note - if this could be a different user or a user external to Xero, that would be cool. quite frankly I would pay for a "reports" user.

Basically, allow a "Set this report to be emailed" option.

I need to send weekly reports to 40 individual budget holders (we're a school, so each subject has a separate budget) to enable them to see how their actual expenditure is tracking against budget. It's not feasible to do this manually, so I am using an add-on, which isn't entirely satisfactory.

It's frustrating when work is done on Xero to 'improve' on existing functionality when there are still basic features - like scheduled reporting - missing.

Would like the ability to schedule the automation of reports and be emailed to staff. For example, schedule each Monday morning to have a WIP Aged Ledger report processed and emailed to staff.

Of course, this is still of interest! It is a basic feature and frankly it is remarkable that Xero does not offer it.

For our US operation we use Zoho Books for Invoice generation and sync back in Xero (the standard accounting system for our group).

For my weekly US sales meeting, we use Automatic generation of reports from Zoho Books to enable sales meeting attendees with weekly results for review.

For my weekly marketing meeting, I have to manually login and generate a marketing spend report from Xero to be circulated. Same for the monthly group finance review (but for 3 companies).

The lack of automated reports in Xero costs me atleast a day a year. I wonder what its costing the entire Xero customer base?

Automated reporting is very much needed, I was so surprised when I found out Xero didn't have it!

Yes, we need this important feature on Xero as we are generating few Xero reports and emailing them manually to the relevant staff.

I can't believe Xero doesn't understand the need for this, surely it's a fairly simple development!!

Very much needed

This would be great, and very easy to setup. PLus it avoids having to navigate around permission structures for certain data.

We have this request as well, very surprised it is not in the platform already.

This would be a fantastic feature, businesses I have worked for in the past have certain reports emailed to them automatically every month and it's a great way to track how your business is going.

This would be really useful. I'd like to schedule some regular reports to hit inboxes automatically weekly.

We are expanding our sales team and really need this feature to simplify and automate reporting, for payment of commission.
