Purchase Orders - Physical Address as default delivery address

Ability to make Physical address as default delivery address when creating Purchase orders.

Purpose: It’s saving users time rather than change the address manually.

Hi everyone, we understand the sentiment here and how this change could help you work more efficiently in Xero. Thank you for insights we received to assist in our discovery of this feature.

As we've continued to develop the new purchase orders experience, I am happy to share here that when this rolls out your businesses Physical address will be the default for Delivery address.

I'll return to keep you updated as this goes live.

    Seems bizarre this still isn't possible. Surely there should be some way to toggle the default

    I've been caught out a few times by not changing the delivery address from PO Box to physical location. The physical location makes better sense for the default delivery address.

    Causes much inconvenience as our postal address is a PO Box - definitely not a delivery address.

    This is a no brainer - very minimal (if any) suppliers would send products/orders to a mailing address, as they are often a PO Box.

    Not just time saving at the time of creating the Purchase Order but avoids the obvious problem of forgetting to change it!

    Would be a good time saver to have the ability to choose your default address

    We need to make sure our goods get delivered to the warehouse and not our office.
    If inserting the delivery address gets missed then lorries end up having to block the road while making a difficult turn and wasting everyone's time.
    If the address could be set to the warehouse by default then there would be no risk of that small step being missed when a PO is raised in a hurry.

    This should be a basic option, it isn't a "feature". We have more than one site and most of our purchase orders are for items that we require for delivery to other sites. Crazy that this isn't just a simple selection in the settings

    I'm very keen on this idea as it saves having to select the physical address on every single PO

    This should be a basic option, not a 'feature.' Users have been asking for this for years! Simply adding it to another forum is avoidance

    It would be really helpful if default addresses can be set on purchase orders. The postal address is not always the delivery address for orders. Xero can this be something you can do for us

    I must say it is very frustrating that we can not get an answer from xero Apart from sending me here to read that everyone else has same problem , would be better to just fix it . Have had companies cancel my orders due to having PO Box instead of delivery address.

    We require our physical address to appear on all Purchase Orders for deliver/ courier purposes. We need this to be an option as a default please

    Most of our purchases get delivered via courier who require the physical address. Would love to be able to save all our purchase orders with the delivery address. Can't deliver to a PO Box.... just say'n.
