Purchase order - Ability to format Delivery address
What have you done to purchase orders? the delivery instructions are now all in one line, whereas we had them in separate lines to match our template. I suppose I now need to recreate one and then check to see how it comes out on our existing template. We've had no notice that these were going to change. The info is way too big now, like with the invoices. The Dashboard was bad enough. Why do you have to keep changing things for no purpose?
Thanks for the continued engagement with this idea, everyone. Taking on board feedback we're receiving on the new experience our product team are looking into the formatting of the delivery address atm. I'll share more news around this with you all, here.

I agree with the comments here - why is the delivery address formatting like this? At best it looks unprofessional and unhelpful, at worst it is unusable. Please say this is being fixed asap.

We cannot keep adding a delivery address everytime we create a purchase order. We need to be able to save the delivery addresses for future use. This needs to be changed ASAP.

I'm having more problems now. I am finding that occasionally (once a week) I will create an purchase order and email it and then it disappears. This on top of not being able to create a site address for a delivery or to delete completed site addresses is becoming a heavy burden.
Change for change sake is not a positive way forward. These alterations simply make life a lot harder than necessary, which is a shame in a good software package, -

its the same for me, if the site is running for a long time you have to keep entering the same address? or am i doing something wrong?

Where are we at with this delivery address formatting? We can no longer add addresses for our multiple sites we work at, we don't want to add a one off address each time we need to issue multiple orders for the one site. The addresses are not contact information but working locations. We need the ability to add and save addresses and edit current ones that we have alredy saved. You have seriously not thought through how your users use your product. I've been using Xero since 2013 - and these latest updates have been a nightmare. The dashboard is extremely overwhelming and NOT productive at all.

Can we please get an update on this? Massively effecting productivity. Seriously looking at leaving Xero due to the lack functionality for POs which has only been made worse by this last update.

Hi Team,
Can you please update us on the progress??? .. Our productivity level has been reduced significantly by the update and additional work required for all the data to appear on the PO... VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

When are the issues with delivery address & contacts being corrected? Xero has gone backwards. Why no consultation????
Are there another other changes planned that will be imposed without consultation?
Do I need to to look into other P2P platforms?

Really disliking the new PO system. It feels much less user friendly than previously, like a step backwards. It gets a down vote from everyone in our office who are all frustrated by it. I appreciate it always takes a while for anything new to normalise but this change is really not an improvement. Can we have the old one back please!

Just need to increase the delivery instructions window so all the message can be viewed at once. Current tiny line by line view is painful.

Absolutely insane that Xero destroyed a perfectly fine design for the purchase order page. Spend time doing that instead of spending time building a feature where you can upload a purchase order with CSV. Why is this still not built?

Also the company name does not show on the delivery any more. Why has this been taken off?

I don't suppose there's any chance of rolling back to to classic purchase orders until this is resolved? The combination of the supplier name not pulling through, and not being able to edit it in, is more than a little inconvenient.

The new Purchase Order is diabolical. The business name for the delivery doesn't get added to the Purchase order anymore. The only way around this appears to be to add it in to the Attention box.
The Delivery address can't be updated without changing in Contacts.
The tax rates change if cost prices are amended.
The e-mail addresses have to be scrolled if any amends need to be made. -

Agree, we need to ability to amend or delete the actual address within the PO. We now have to add the delivery address within 'contacts' but it is not a supplier nor a customer!

Totally agree - this is so bad - no warning. and it has completly screwed us up.
Wheres the option or request if we want the change!?Try fixing all the broken stuff and leave things like this alone!

Hey Team,
Lots of great updates in Xero generally but not sure why it was chosen for the delivery address field to change from a standard address layout to the address all in one line. There is no delivery system anywhere that uses this as a default address layout. It should be a single line for each element of the delivery address. On Purchase orders, the contact address is not the same as a delivery address (3PL). Please make an update to the delivery address format asap as the current format makes despatch notes unprofessional. Thanks for your assistance. Nerida. -

Problems with the delivery address running as just one line
Please go back to the old system for the purchase orders and invoices.
The new delivery address platform is not customer friendly (we are the customer, please remember that)
You new system has already confused some of our suppliers shipping departments
While we understand that some things must change due to compatibility to other systems you must remember that we picked Xero due to it being easy to use and the old saying "IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!

Where is the Contact name, I only seem to have delivery address and attention.
Please revert back, the new PO sheet is unworkable on an ipad.
