New Purchase Order View - Add and remove addresses manually
The new PO rollout has removed the ability to add AND SAVE an address manually.
Previously we could manually add an address and SAVE IT - meaning that it could be re-used while needed. Now we can only add a "Once-off" address
As a builder, we send PO's with Site addresses, not addresses existing within our saved Contacts.
This means I now have to either create a "Contact" just for a Site address
OR
Manually type the Site address EVERY SINGLE TIME I create a PO
We URGENTLY need the ability to create, save and eventually remove manual addresses within PO's again
Hi team, we really appreciate hearing back about the new purchase order experience. Taking on board feedback this is one that our team have picked up on and are looking to make a change for. I'll keep you updated on the progress. Thanks!

Please change back tyo the old format of where we are able to edit a delivery address, or make changes to it, once it is saved
this is very annoying

Can we please get an update on this? Massively effecting productivity. Seriously looking at leaving Xero due to the lack functionality for POs which has only been made worse by this last update.

I think we need to be able to setup multiple delivery addresses for our organisation to match our various locations and also to potentially drop ship goods from a supplier direct to our customers - hence ability to have some present and edit is needed.
Overall - Xero does not seem to have its lost direction in terms of adding/ maintaining core functionality that business need.. and is wasting time other area's like the dashboard which does not fix the underlying that gaps that Xero fails to address.

Please change it back. Currently, delivery addresses in Xero are tied to the supplier’s Physical Address, which creates challenges for businesses operating with multiple warehouses or delivery locations. Many companies need to receive goods from the same supplier at different sites, and these sites may change over time.
It would be far more practical to maintain a centralised address book of delivery locations (e.g., warehouses or sites) that can be selected when creating a purchase order or bill, rather than editing the supplier’s address each time. This would reduce maintenance, prevent errors, and better support businesses with multi-site operations.

Can you please advise when the change/s will be made.
Or at least have the courtesy to respond to everyone on this thread, who has asked for an update. -

We are also having an issue with this. It is a complete nightmare having to type in the address every time and constantly risk it being typed in incorrectly. I am so surprised that functionality has been removed via an update. Normally I would expect this to be increased.
I have spoken to support but they seem to be unable to help in any way other than suggesting some not great fudges in order to work around the issue that have been created! Not their fault but it certainly feels like whoever is doing the updates isn't asking or listening to what people need/want.
It would also be useful to be able to match invoices to PO's before they're approved. All in all the PO offering is woeful but it is far worse now!

Xero, this is a really simple fix just revert to the original PO format!

Where is an update on this please? It has caused so much additional work for us internally and seems utterly ridiculous you would remove such a simple feature / button!
At this point, I will start to look at different software. It feels like everytime you log in you make pointless changes to the system.

Is there any update on this - this new system is so frustrating

I agree with Maria. I don't understand why you have removed this.
We have one supplier that delivers to multiple addresses and removing this makes more work than is necessary. If it isn't broke....dont fix/remove it.

Could we have an update on the progress this request please? This is causing us major issues having to keep manually adding addresses and not being able to edit or delete them.

This is a major problem for our business as we use multiple delivery addresses across multiple customers. What was the benefit in removing such a basic feature? Please reinstate it ASAP.

Well that was short lived .. I am back to the "new version" of purchase orders again which is very annoying.
Thanks, Maria Lovell, I'll try adding additional email addresses at you suggested :)
