Purchase order - Ability to format Delivery address
What have you done to purchase orders? the delivery instructions are now all in one line, whereas we had them in separate lines to match our template. I suppose I now need to recreate one and then check to see how it comes out on our existing template. We've had no notice that these were going to change. The info is way too big now, like with the invoices. The Dashboard was bad enough. Why do you have to keep changing things for no purpose?
Appreciate the feedback and understanding how you preferred the formatting of your delivery address before, Julie. While we don't have immediate plans for changing this we'll start to get a sense of the interest through your idea.
Our product team are watching the feedback around this closely and I'll be sure to share if there are any updates planned.
In terms of the name of the client - this will be driven by the name entered in the Attention to field of the Contact. Within the po you can click on the Contact name to Edit, if you select the 'Edit all address fields' option this will expand the fields so you can edit or add a client name in the Attention to.

Hey Team,
Lots of great updates in Xero generally but not sure why it was chosen for the delivery address field to change from a standard address layout to the address all in one line. There is no delivery system anywhere that uses this as a default address layout. It should be a single line for each element of the delivery address. On Purchase orders, the contact address is not the same as a delivery address (3PL). Please make an update to the delivery address format asap as the current format makes despatch notes unprofessional. Thanks for your assistance. Nerida. -

Problems with the delivery address running as just one line
Please go back to the old system for the purchase orders and invoices.
The new delivery address platform is not customer friendly (we are the customer, please remember that)
You new system has already confused some of our suppliers shipping departments
While we understand that some things must change due to compatibility to other systems you must remember that we picked Xero due to it being easy to use and the old saying "IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!

Where is the Contact name, I only seem to have delivery address and attention.
Please revert back, the new PO sheet is unworkable on an ipad.

Totally agree with this especially the delivery address including the companies name pulling through. I now have to add a one off address each time I create a new PO. What an absolute joke!

Following on from my previous comment with screenshots, not having the company name pull through on the address field is a big issue. Some companies exist in the same building as others (Xero uk for example) "same address different companies" attachment.
Then you say that we need to put the company name in the attention to field? "address comes out like this" attachment shows how that looks. Does that look right to you? Is that what your designers were going for?

Kelly, within the purchase order screen I can only see "edit all address fields" on the supplier contact. I see no way of editing the address of the delivery contact?
The name in the attention to field is the contact name of the person on site to contact for delivery, we still need the company name to be pulled through, I can't believe this is intended behaviour, I assumed it was a bug!

Please restore delivery address feature.
Do you guys even consider customer feedback prior to making any changes? -

Totally agree with the PO now not pulling through the name of the client - it only pulls through their address - when we send a PO to a supplier we need to give them the name of our client and NOT just their address - please can this be fixed ASAP
