    Thanks for the feedback, Steve I've passed along your compliments to our support team too.

    Out of interest is there anything in particular you'd like to be able to download your support conversations for? e.g would you be wanting to share these somewhere else or file them somewhere to have on hand? This'd be great to share back with our team.

    For the time being, as you might've found (though a little manual) - you can copy & paste the detail of a support case internal an external document such as Google Docs or MS Word.

  2. I am trying to find an app to help with cash flow forecasting. Xero could not have made it harder to compare. Why does the app overview page not say anything about the cost of the app? It only says free trial is available, however, I want to see what the ongoing cost is, before I even consider giving it a go. With Xero increasing costs so often and by an outrageous percentage, I find the lack of transparency of connected apps cost rather disingenuous. Xero needs to make it easier to not just search but also to compare features…

    We appreciate for many small businesses having more information about connected apps pricing is important when making and choosing solutions for your business.

    While this isn't currently available, it's something our team are looking into surfacing through the Xero App store.

    There's a bit of work to go into it, but we'll keep you updated of any progress for this here. 😊

  3. In regard to client monthly charges being oncosted via billing, would it be possible for you to run a report of any other files that are dormant. Files that are being paid for and not used?

  4. Xero Central - please add the year that a case is lodged and each response. At the moment it just has day and month but no year. I have found one of mine from Nov 2022 that the last response is that I would be updated when it is resolved but the case is closed and the only reason I knew it was Nov 2022 is that the attachment I uploaded had the date of the screenshot.

  6. OK so maybe it's obvious to you that Xero Product Ideas is under the 'Community' tab on xero central but can I suggest you mention it under 'Support' too, as that is where most people looking for help start?

    I tried searching 'feature request', 'request' etc on support and in the end had to open a case to find out you had a whole Product Ideas thing - I didn't think to look under 'Community' as I wrongly assumed that was just discussion.
    I can't be the only person who thought this way, especially when concerned about something that seems…

    Hi all, we’ve now made Product Ideas available in Xero Central search, you’ll spot them in the results with their green label for “Product Idea” or you can filter your search under “What do you want to do?” to select “Share an idea”. 😁

    As mentioned in our last update we’re also looking into making Product Ideas easier to find - we’ll update this idea once we’ve got more to share.

    Hi team, wanting to provide an update to you here, we want you to know we understand the efficiency more users would like to have in being able to automate the creation of the Xero subscription invoice inside their Xero org.

    To highlight from my last update for UK users this is possible with eInvoicing through the online invoice (My Bills page).

    This is still something we're interested in developing in more regions however isn't planned in our roadmap just yet.

    When resource opens up for us to be able to pick this work up we will share an update with you all on this here. Thanks for staying engaged and supporting in this idea.

  8. Is it possible to permanently remove the help banners that continually appear at the top of screens in Xero?

    Ideally, it would be nice to use these (if needed) and then close them off permanently, so they don't reappear every time you work in the file.

    They take a significant amount of space at the top of the screen so you actually have to X them out.

  9. I feel that there is a poor level of dialogue from Xero on these ideas. For the top voted topics - I'd like communication as to what they're doing to implement a solution (and if not then why not).
    For the ideas that are years old but still receive steady votes - what's happening?

    If Xero have no plans to take on certain ideas then make it known.

    We wanted to give you an update on how we’re managing Xero Product Ideas, and our updates - In July last year we made a few changes that included new public statuses for ideas, and providing our customers more guidance on how to create a good idea.

    We also now have our site "The Long and Short of It" which aims to keep users in the know of recent and upcoming changes, with filters to zone into updates that are most useful to you.

    Hi team, support for Canada subscription payments via AMEX are now live!

    To recap we currently support American Express as a payment method for Canada, Australia, South Africa, and United Kingdom.

  11. It would be great if Xero can change the PDF format of partner monthly subscription invoices by customer rather than subscription type.

    This way the PDF can be forwarded to our Xero Blue practice file as a draft bill and hopefully the AI will extract each customer subscription as a separate line item within the bill so we an easily assign each line as an expense to each individual client.

    Then the billable expenses will come through correctly when we raise sales invoices in XPM that integrate with our Xero Blue practice file as a draft invoice.

  12. Add the option for multi currency to other subscription types.

    Currently the only way to use multi-currency is to upgrade to the Xero Established/Premium or Ultimate pricing plan. For a sole trader that doesn't need all the extra features of those plans, that is a minimum price increase of over double the starter plan.

A regular check to ensure you are using the correct subscription for the size of your business. we downsized but without checking our subscription and have been paying for a subscription for more staff than we have. A quarterly reminder email to remind clients to check their subscription is correct for their needs.

  14. Our club wishes to purchase Xero but Xero have no system in order to accept subscription payments from clubs who have dual signatories on their bank accounts. They only offer direct debit with one bank signatory or debit/credit cards. Neither of which work when you are a club/charity who must have financial accountability to their members/community. I have suggested an automatic payment and supplying them with a direct debit form with both signatories but they have declined both. I find this incredible. Surely there is a solution here? We can't be the only club/charity that has this situation. Are we?

  15. Being able to search prior support cases via a 'search' function would be very time saving. The process of scrolling through prior cases is very time consuming.

    Searching only by Open/Closed cases isn't overly useful.

  17. As is frequently reported in the news, cybercrimes are prevalent and increasing. In light of a security incident experienced by one of our own clients - additional security measures to avoid cyber security issues need to be addressed.
    Being able to safely send invoices electronically that have some type of protection on them is of utmost importance.

    One small step that can easily be made within Xero is to remove the word 'Invoice' from the subject line of the email which basically can lead hackers to where the dollars are.

  19. I use other apps where, if staff submit a case request, I can view it automatically without the need of manual sharing (that xero does).

    Its important that admin staff can view all xero case support messages that is submitted by staff - especially if the staff isn't going to stay with our firm.

    Its very frustrating to continue on with a xero support case that only exist on a work email of a staff that no longer works for us.

  20. Currently, it seems that business owners with more than one company need to purchase separate subscriptions for each entity.

    Whilst this may be a good solution for users with one or two entities, it becomes very expensive (and in some cases prohibitive) for users who own multiple entities to make use of Xero as an accounting service. Additionally, "overall financial position" metrics / reports currently need to be purchased separately - which further increases the cost for business owners.

    I would thus like to enquire whether it would be possible for Xero to create either a license option to that…
