    Totally understand how notifications of errors can improve efficiency and handling of returns in Xero Tax (AU). Thanks for all your input and sharing on this idea, everyone.

    While we have a few pieces of work underway atm, this is something our team are looking to develop. We're going to move this to Under Review and as we have more info and progress we'll return to share this with you all, here. 🙂

    Because we are not advised there is an error, there are now late lodgments due Xero failing to set this up with any urgency.

    Hi Sarah, when importing invoices to Xero, these should come in as drafts. You can Delete draft invoices in bulk from the Draft List view. 🙂

    Would be good to better understand the way invoices are coming into your organisation if there's a step I'm missing here?

    Such an urgent requirement, with all these apps being connected by clients because of your terrible advertising suggesting that xero can do everything it's self for your business, they connect their apps and it imports all the historic invoices. To have to now manually go through and delete every imported invoice individually for prior periods is crazy, who's paying for this task to be processed to correct the connection issue to Xero?. Xero has created the necessity for Bulk Deletes due to these app connections, but wont provide the ability, Crazy!

    Hi team, sorry it's taken so long for us to return to the idea here.

    I appreciate the feedback from my last update where I suggested lock dates as an option and hear why this isn't a viable option for some.

    If you're based in the US or CA you may want to check out our newer feature 'Reconcile period' that enables you to reconcile and close period within each bank account.

    It'd be good to hear if users from other regions in this idea believe reconcile period would resolve what you're after here and I can merge in to this idea where we're continuing to track interest for expanding this feature to other region. Thanks

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the support and feedback this idea has continued to receive, and the appetite for being able to add multiple addresses to a Clients record.

    As you may have seen or read from our recent Xerocon announcement we have some exciting changes coming for our partners with Xero Partner Hub.

    One of the big changes with this is unifying Client experiences and bringing them into one place - Meaning with Xero Partner Hub you'll have the ability to add multiple addresses for a client 😊

    We understand there's a secondary request within this idea to be able to tag an email for specific purposes and we want to be upfront that his won't be possible with the initial launch but our product team are aware and considering how we might develop Xero Partner Hub for this use overtime - We have created a separate idea that we'd…

    Hi team, following on from my last update though our position remains that we don't have plans for making all reports available in report templates we wanted to share a recent change we have made.

    We have unlocked the ability to add client-specific custom reports to Adviser packs, giving you additional flexibility and more comprehensive reporting, which we know has been a key request for some in the idea here.

    As mentioned in our last post - we're very keen to continue to understand the interest in specific reports, so if not already please make sure to add your support or start an idea for a the report you'd like to see. Thanks

    Hi everyone, we'd like to share an update on this idea with you all - As announced at Xerocon there are exciting changes coming for practices with Xero Partner Hub!

    With the Xero Partner Hub you'll have a unified client and staff experience. We'll be providing some additional Client detail fields including Date of Death for Individual / Sole Trader business structures.

    This'll be rolling out to all Xero partners in early 2026, with the beta being available from November, starting in Australia and New Zealand - Find out more on our website

    Not being able to rename these cover letters, is causing the incorrect letters to go out to clients, not only making our practice look incompetent, but also the xero product it's self being questioned again..
    IAS statement for signing do not have GST on them, why would the same letter be set up for this?

    Hi everyone, you can now send multiple reminders at once - you can find out more about it 👉 here. This'll reduce the time spent sending reminders for document packs.

    We aren’t ruling out automated reminders in future though, so give it a go and let us know your thoughts!

    Notification/reminder notices should be sent out when your pack is finishing soon either by time or signatures used.
    This will help cash flow, to know if you are purchasing the right size package for your business.

    Hi community, thank you to everyone who's shared and supported the ability to email credit notes to Xero.

    We understand why you'd like to be able to automate the flow and entry of Credit Notes in Xero, however this isn't something we have plans of developing within Xero right now.

    As mentioned in my last update it's possible to currently automate entry of Credit Notes in Xero, by publishing these through Hubdoc -You can find steps to connecting Hubdoc to your Xero organisation, or detail on publishing Credit notes, on Xero Central.

    If there are any changes put in place for this, we'll let you know.
