Hi team, I'd like to confirm that the ability to send invoices via SMS is now released to all AU users that have connected Stripe.
We're beginning to look at expanding this feature to other regions, and next up with be the US.

While sending via SMS is available within individual invoices atm, it is not possible to automate this with invoice reminders yet. If you're interested in this we have a slightly different idea you may like to join and follow across here.

Hi everyone, thank you for all the interest and we appreciate the needs for those using foreign currency to have more efficiency in how you process these bills for payment. Your feedback and votes here have not gone unnoticed - We have a team that have been doing some ground work in this space and at this time we have beta that we'd like to invite any UK customers to join and feedback to our team on the experience. If you'd like to be a part of this please fill in our form here and we'll be in touch.
We appreciate this idea is farther reaching than UK alone and while the beta is limited to this region for the time being, based on results we will look at expanding this to other places.

It would be a great feature to have the ability to edit the sales tax amount in the total of a bill. As shown in the attached image, this capability is available in QuickBooks Online and other software. This enhancement would benefit clients who have uneven sales tax amounts for import/export taxes. Currently, there is no workaround in Xero to accommodate these expenses, which results in inaccurate sales tax filings.

I would like the ability to manually edit the automatically calculated sales tax on a bill, as it often differs from the vendor's invoice, and currently, there is no option to adjust it on a bill entry.

Hi everyone, we've begun rolling out a new feature that enables you to reconcile a period in Xero which'll be available to users with the Standard or Advisor roles. This'll appear as a new tab within a bank account (next to Account Transactions). From here, you can capture the period dates and balances from your statement, and Xero will automatically show and select all transactions within the period. Once the period is reconciled, you'll be able to close it to prevent transactions being deleted or unreconciled within that period. You'll find details of how to access and use reconcile a period on Xero Central.
As a start we'll be making this feature available to all US and CA organizations, so I'll be back to confirm once fully live in these regions. 🙂

Hello everyone in our amazing Xero family! I'm truly blown away by the incredible accounting software that Xero has developed, with its multitude of outstanding features.
However, I can't help but feel that the lack of a feature for cross-referencing with actual bank statements is quite surprising.Given the overall advanced nature of the software, I strongly believe that Xero should incorporate the ability to automatically download bank statements, match transactions with those already posted, and provide us with the option to review and ensure a perfect balance match between Xero and the bank statements.
It's important to address the errors currently found in the bank feed and statement importing to ensure a seamless experience for all users.
I have no doubt that Xero can make these improvements, and I'm excited to see the software continue to evolve and impress us all!

I suggest that Xero should consider adding a payroll feature specifically tailored to the Canadian market. By incorporating this functionality, Xero can effectively compete with other software solutions that already offer payroll services in Canada. This would not only enhance the completeness of the software but also attract more Canadian businesses looking for a comprehensive accounting solution tailored to their specific needs.
