    Hi, I appreciate you considering my suggestion seriously. I am referring to the process of recording payments for invoices that have already been created. I typically reconcile once a month and need to log payments on the same day I receive them; otherwise, it disrupts my workflow. Additionally, my client will receive an unpaid notification along with the reminders. This is something most of my clients work like, so it's not only for me...

    I would appreciate having an option in the + menu for quickly adding a customer payment. This small enhancement would save us precious time spent searching for customer names or invoices. I've included a screenshot from QBO showing how it looks.

    Hi all, we wanted to share an update for our US customers that sending invoices via SMS is now available! We have just released this functionality and you can use the same Xero Central article as shared in the last update to understand the in's & out's of how this works. After this release we will be working on delivering this to the UK and NZ markets. As mentioned initially this is limited to the Stripe payment service but we will also be expanding this other payment services down the line.

    Hi team, appreciate wanting an update - I'm pleased to share the beta went well and we've now launched international bill payments for our UK customers, making it easier to pay overseas suppliers.

    Using open banking, UK businesses can now securely send money to 180+ countries including Europe (EUR), America (USD) and Australia (AUD). So you don't have to juggle multiple platforms or hidden fees. Whether you're paying a single bill or multiple bills at once, you can authorise payments prepared by your team and easily track which suppliers have been paid.

    We’re committed to new ways to expand our bill payments feature for small businesses and their advisors in other regions by leveraging new technologies, where available. I'll keep you updated of any further developments for this, here.

    Hi team, thanks for sharing your interest in a payroll product for Canada. We don't have any plans in the near term for developing specific payroll products for other regions, and I will move this idea to Not planned. 

    If you've been using our Global Pay Run product you may have recently received communication of changes we're making that we believe will help you manage your payroll more effectively. 

    • From 23 July 2025 Global Pay Run will become read-only. You'll still be able to see all your past payroll information, however you will not be able to process any new pay runs after this date. 
    • Global Pay run will be retired after April 2026, at which point you'll no longer be able to access pay run.

    I suggest that Xero should consider adding a payroll feature specifically tailored to the Canadian market. By incorporating this functionality, Xero can effectively compete with other software solutions that already offer payroll services in Canada. This would not only enhance the completeness of the software but also attract more Canadian businesses looking for a comprehensive accounting solution tailored to their specific needs.

With our reimagined navigation this is something our product teams considered closely, however there is a bit of work involved to achieve what's being asked and we want to be open it's not in the roadmap right now.     It would be a great feature to have the ability to edit the sales tax amount in the total of a bill. As shown in the attached image, this capability is available in QuickBooks Online and other software. This enhancement would benefit clients who have uneven sales tax amounts for import/export taxes. Currently, there is no workaround in Xero to accommodate these expenses, which results in inaccurate sales tax filings.

    I would like the ability to manually edit the automatically calculated sales tax on a bill, as it often differs from the vendor's invoice, and currently, there is no option to adjust it on a bill entry.
